December 14, 200421 yr #1 Ok prior to ordering the edit I need to let the distributers here in WA know what tunes I want in the little box of tricks. Bearing in mind that the maximum rwkw on offer will be a safe 240 ish So the question is what should I be asking for?1. Limited tune - Speed / rev. limited for the untrustworthy2. Torque - Designed to provide more torque down low rather than outright KW up top.3. Modded Tune - Designed to benefit centre muffler, CAI etc.4. Ultimate fuel effeciency etc. etc.Within each tune things such as Auto change points, A/F ratio, rev. limiter etc can also be played with.Input would be greatly appreciated!! Steve
December 14, 200421 yr #3 capa said they dont come with a stock tune rather when you upload one of the programs the stock tune replaces it
December 14, 200421 yr #4 capa said they dont come with a stock tune rather when you upload one of the programs the stock tune replaces it<{POST_SNAPBACK}>this should be varified by tuna but the way it was described to me was the box has enough memory for 4 tunes:1 room to upload your std tune and vehicle id2,3&4 suplied or custom tunesthat's my understanding anyway!
December 14, 200421 yr #5 I understand dw different people I talk to have different storys how I understand it is as I stated when you upload the mod tune it is then replace with the tune that is in the car time will tell
December 14, 200421 yr #6 Do we know what price range the Edit is going to be yet?I'm just on hold till I see how good it is. B.B.
December 14, 200421 yr #8 will u still have to change things such as injectors with the edit?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>no.. u never did but the bigger injectors (like all other mods) provides more room for extra horses!
December 14, 200421 yr #9 all I meant was when u use a unichip only the injectors are maxed at 280kw so would u need bigger ones for edit to make power
December 14, 200421 yr #10 2. Torque - Designed to provide more torque down low rather than outright KW up top.If you get too much torque down low, more tahn likely you wil be replacing gearboxes fairly regularly....
