I have got a similar ute to yours.

Dyno'd a dissapointing 180 rwkw out of the box.

Herrod Cat back exhaust and Unichip gave me 210 rwkw.

I was happy with the 30 kw increase but a bit pissed off with the start point.

Maybe my engine was built on the sloppy end of the tolerances!

The day my car was on the dyno they had a XR6T Manual Sedan 205 rwkw stock standard. (Apparently that was really good figure stock.)

I neeeed more power so it will be interesting to see what suggestions you get.

Maybe a Vortec Blower?

04 BA XR8 Ute, auto, lightning strike, leather etc

I have heard someone is working on a twin turbo system for the XR8 and GT, they have that ute running 8 secs down the quarter and the potential of the ford is better. How cool would it be the sound of the Boss motor and the hissing of 2 turbos, F*&&*^EN UNREAL.

Have a MkII XR8 with 6 speed.

These are my dyno results:

Stock 198.5

Dual 3" Di Fillpo Exhaust & Headers 210.5

UniChip 223.5

Car is brand new and with those mods should be good for 230 - 235RWKW when it gets a few K's on it.

Underdrive pullies go on next week which should add 7 - 10 RWKW. I also put a "T" snorkel on with a K & N Filter.

Di Fillipo system is fantastic...sounds real nice

Oooo nice, I wouldn't mind a quad tailpipe set up like that on my T...does DiFillpo so that for Ts??

Also what does the under drive kit do?

Hi

About $5,000 for the exhaust, unichip, T snorkel, and K & N Filter.

Underdrives are $600 installed.

Pictures below are of the exhaust before it went on.
