Turbo Charade

If I have a standard 3 cyl 1L Charade G100 1989 model, Is the motor the same bottem end to the standard 3cyl non Gtti turbo motor?

Im going to build a baby turbo charged Frankenstein....

Basically equivalent to a 1.7L NA engine, I wouldn't call it a world beater!

Seeing as the 3 pot NA is lucky to accelerate with the air con on, I can't see the hair dryer making it fly!

I am not sure on spec's but I beleive they had different rods and pistons on the turbo ones.

They had lower compression ratio.

Grab a wrecked Suzuki GSXR1300 Huyabusa engine and slap that in it, then strap on a hairdryer and hang on

I have one of these sitting on my desk right in front of me. It's the smallest turbo I've ever seen and its a VF series turbo.
