Ok for anyone who is interested I heard back from Tempe this morning and for the $2600 you get 19x8.5 rims with brand new 245/35/19 rubber. The rims alone are $400 a pop.

We should see a set of these babies on the Fairmont by xmas. I have not seen them on any car in WA yet! :glad:

ACID, I didnt know that! Tell your mate his car looks unreal :spoton: Ask him to join the forum so I can ask him some Qs before I hand over $2600. What springs is he running in there?

Soon to be another Fairmont like his on Perth streets. :w00t2:

From memory he's running a coilover system, not sure which brand but I know he had a few problems trying to get them to fit with the car so low, last time I spoke to him he was lowering it more but I dont know if that was before or after the pic.

Hi Guys,

I just bought these rims in 19x8.5 & 19x9.5 with 235/45 & 265/30 Nankangs for $2800. Only difference is my rims are from Speedy and are called HP Racing. Pretty good value I thought. If you want to know where from, let me know. :w00t2:

According to my insurance the Starcorp wheels that Tempe sells are not covered by they! :smilielol:

They told me that the wheels do not meet Australian build regulations and do not carry the correct load bearing! :spoton: So if the wheel breaks and I crash my car then insurance will not cover for the damage caused to the car. Plus wheels will not be covered at all. :smilielol:

Not sure what the go is, but I already got some prices on Aust made wheels (AMG, RJR, ROH) but none of them look as good :smilielol: There is a set of Advanti rims that I like but the price is out of my range!
