rainy Member 181 Member For: 23y 4m 7d Location: central coast Posted 25/10/04 11:22 PM Posted 25/10/04 11:22 PM I have just recently noticed that the clear film on my factory18"s is peeling off.It seems to start as a little blister then gets steadily worse.I went to the local ford dealer and thier first response was that it was caused by some type of solvent.I explained that I use the same soap to wash my car as I do the wheels and the duco is fine.They took a couple of pics to send off to ford to we can only wait and see!!!Any one else have or heard of this problem

OwnaXR6T, when you say you've got a new set were they replaced because of this? Like Rainy, I've used nothing but soft wash on my car, no hard solvents. Be interested in the response you get, Rainy.

Doesn't look real obvious unless you get up close. Also, the area that it has peeled from is getting larger and eventually will have peeled from the whole wheel. When this has happened it probably will look like nothing has happened.
