Question: How do you tell the difference between a NSW, QLD or VIC Police

Officer?

Answer: Pose the following question:

You, the Police Officer, are walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small

children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife comes around

the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, raises the knife,

and charges. You are carrying a Glock .40, and you are an expert shot. You

have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family.

What do you do?

NSW Officer Answer:

BANG!

QUEENSLAND Officer Answer:

Well, that's not enough information to answer the question! Does the man

look poor or oppressed? Have I ever done anything to him that would

inspire him to attack? Could we run away? What does my wife think? What

about the kids?

Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his

hand? What does the law say about this situation? Does the Glock have

appropriate safety built into it? Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway,

and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children? Is

it possible he'd be happy with just killing me? Does he definitely want to

kill me, or would he be content just to wound me? If I were to grab his

knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me?

Should I call 0-0-0? Why is this street so deserted? We need to raise

taxes, have a paint and weed day and make this a happier, healthier street

that would discourage such behavior. This is so confusing! I need to

debate this with some friends for a few days and try to come to a

consensus.

SA police officer.

Ease up champ. Can you save that attack till after we,ve gone for Maccas. If we,re not back in ten minutes start without us.

Out of all those shots fired about 10% of them actually found there target I'd say. I've shot next to a fare few coppers and I'm telling you now alot of them I don't think should be carrying a firearm.

NEW ZEALAND COPPER:

Well they wouldn't be in that situation, see if I had a day to spend with the family off duty, then we would all be in the XR6, cruising to our destination, stuff walking $42 000 later and walking ain't an option. WE ARE smart us kiwis. :spoton:

I like it Scootre

Though the answer for the NSW Policeman would have to be the same for the Queensland Policeman.

The NSW Police has gone soooooo down hill

I think they must recruit pink and fluffy social workers these days.

Dinosaurs like me are very rare.

As a matter of fact, NSW has now got the Police Force it deserves.

VIC:

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

Then we hear:

"Police - Don't Move! Put down the knife!"

Also, note that there are only 6 shots fired, as Victoria still uses revolvers that they second hand from the Ugandan Army when they thought they were too old and needed to be retired.

and ........as a former police marksman I've seen plenty of gun club clowns that wouldnt know their ass from their elbow, and they practice more than the coppers get to
