It's a cordless phone actually, think it might be Uniden brand. Also if you have Call Waiting activated it causes your connection to drop out. This is because call waiting is an exchange based function, your phone doesn't have to be plugged in for it to affect your internet connection. I am going to upgrade to the 1500/128 plan for 79.95 a month with 8 gig download. Only ever exceed 10gig when I download free stuff which I would still get for free so extra speed for $10 is good if you ask me.
