24/08/04 09:47 AM24/08/04 09:47 AM #14 The system sounds very much like the exede and unichip, but if its cheaper it has a real edge and it isnt from a no name company either. I wonder if we will see a drop in the price of the chiptorque & unichip.Dazza.

25/08/04 12:35 AM25/08/04 12:35 AM #18 Hi All,The first units outside of Haltech are probably being installed as I write. It is not appropriate for me to go into product details here, but feel free to give me a call at Haltech. If you are interested in pricing of an installed product, please contact a Haltech dealer local to you. Contact numbers for both the Haltech office, and Haltech dealers can be found at the Haltech website: www.haltech.comHaltech dealers are aware of this product, but don't expect them to know much about it yet, as only a limitted number of them have currently got products. Your calls will certainly hurry them up in terms of purchasing units themselves. We have not posted much info on this product on the site yet, but expect it to go up over the next few weeks, and I can answer any questions until then.Pricing wise, we are offering this product to our dealers at a price that is very competitive with the other options out there, but we are not fixing the install and tune cost, so this will vary from dealer to dealer, but it should be very competitive with other options. I expect the going retail price to be cheaper than the other options, but it may take some time for things to settle down.Bare with us over the next month or two, as the products become available, as there are alot of things that will settle down in terms of pricing and availability over this time.-- Adrian
