Bang on the Money Mondie!

New Oaks or he can contact Agastino at Etheridge in Vermont.

They have to call the supplier, DO NOT order online. Your dealer needs to request a grade 10 dif (Hand inspected).

TwinXR and I have the same service department and I fell they suffer from a severe case of NFI when asked for anything out of the standard servicing stuff. I asked to get the police speedo and was asked " whats that :bomb: " I also asked them to check the OC valve again....whats that and this was from the workshop foreman who was ofeended when I asked if he was a mechanic :k24t:

I am sorta stuck as there are no other Ford service places near my place.

I will NOT be taking my T to them for general serviceing as they do not deserve to charge me for an apprentice service and not do the job right. I am lucky that I have my local workshop that knows me and has a WDS type service tolld that will work on the CANBUS system :bomb:

My Ford service = warranty work only

Zap,

If you get the NFI run around from your service dept; get a few posts from this forum printed off, while your giving birth to a politician read up on them, study hard, then march in there and show them the posts and argue the point. Before long they will get the message and come over to your side, worked for me. :k24t:

This site and FF have helped me heaps in getting jobs done on my car to the point, the service manager does not argue with me now. :bomb:

Ooops, false alarm.

Took the car down to New Oak today for the service and so they could record the serial numbers off of my diff to order a replacement. l am duly informed by the service manager that its Ok and doesnt need replacement after all. This after all the wind that was blown up my arse last week and them having driven the car previously and agreeing it was a POS.

How low can these clowns take customer service?

Ford you are a bunch of :ermm:

And for New Oak, you can get

Not to rub in in Mondie but mines in today getting the 3rd one installed. This is meant to be the so called 'Fix' to my problems with a grade 10 diff.

If you like there are two other dealers besides New Oaks that I would recommend in relation to the diff probs. Around where I live as well (Eastern Suburbs). PM me and I give you a call if you like and have a chat, as I know what you are going through. :crybaby:

Mate if you are still not happy try another dealer :crybaby:

I had the dealer call me up to find out how my first service went. I told her that I had a shunting problem and the foreman agreed, yet when I picked up my car there was No Fault Found. After having a b**ch to her about a couple of other things, she said she would speak to the foreman and get back to me ASAP........that was 2 days ago......

I guess this is all ammo....it really seems to be a problem with the service departments not giving a $hit
