My kids really enjoyed the ‘observation’ part of the cruise. They were keen on winning the prize. I think they managed 13 of the 20 items. So I have to ask – who won? Or was it cancelled due to bad light?

My wife and I won the Ford blanket, she is currently sitting on the couch with it over her legs keeping warm

We got about 15 I think as I was snapping number plates, camery's etc from the drivers seat as my wife was not fast enough with the pics

About the only things we did not get was a hitchiker, plane in the sky, roadkill and a commonhore with foglights. We saw many of these things, but short of getting 20+ T's up the bum stopping to take the money shot

It was a good weekend and great to sit down and talk to a few of you too. How cold was it you might wonder? Well the left over meat from the BBQ, that went into the back of the ute(MissXr's ute of course, me being her passenger) was actually frozen into a solid block of meat when it came out of the tray last night.

Phil, you're a trusting man letting me do a couple of laps of the track in your T.

For those who appreciate irony, and know what a tough time I have with No.3 Son travelling in the car. I may have stayed at home this weekend, but that didn't stop him CHUCKING UP FIVE TIMES IN THE SPACE OF 3 HOURS ON SATURDAY NIGHT. ( Good thing I gave this one a miss afterall ).

Sure would like to put my hand up to go on the same venture in the future. Let's get ready !!!

What a great weekend

While it was a bit cold (& wet) the BBQ lunch provided was just what we needed !

What a great experience driving 'round (& 'round) the Mountain.

Looks like you guys had a great time ... sad I missed it ... hope you all got home safe and warm.
