Well I must have found the Black Cat, Allgoing well with the car, Until I drove to Orange for a Party Last Night.

On the way back through Orange, the entire Regional Police Command was out doing "proactive policing" and I was pulled over and issued a TIN, I thought it might be fun to see what you all guess!

1210am (10 past midnight) Main street of Orange 23/05/2004

Polite Policeman though, oh and very very cold at midnight there! He was interested in the fact it was a turbo too!

Answer In 5 days or thereabouts

Aahh Orange. The hunting ground of my past.

I bet it was for using your foglights.

Though, Summer St in Orange is not a sleepy wilderness at night. There are immense problems with street racing, both attributable to the engineering problems of the street (dual lane, divided, with a number of sets of traffic lights, linked by roundabouts at both ends so they can drive laps of the CBD) and the hoodlum youth culture in the town.

There was an Operation VIKING in Orange last night (high profile stuff - I'm totally against it as all it is designed to do is make the law abiding people feel warm and fuzzy about seeing lots of Police to give the impression that crime is being eradicated) and that is why there were so many Police out there.

The Summer St is a problem though, a pub on mosts corners, a plethora of lumpen proletariat in the town (first choice of a country town if you are in a Housing Commission house) a large number of Aborigines that come to Orange from the bush and sit in Robertson Park and drink, the junction point for drug distributors etc

The street racers have even killed a couple of pedestrians in Summer St. Would you believe that some of them have been checked at 140kmh up Summer St?

Though I still think it was for fog lights, and if it was the guy I am thinking about, he was tall, solid build and very polite - a great fellow named Bruce.

LOL.... I recogn you were showing the rice boys what a real mans car can do.... you then lit up the tyres, had a slight flicker of the rear-end and headed for oblivion.... you did not even break 100km/h before "Bruce" pulled you over and did you for either

1. burnout or

2.undue noise

LOL.... and he then probably let you of with a warning after you offered to take him for a spin
