first dead give away is the standard XR6 rims, only 17's. makes no logical sense to put xr rims on it instead of fpv rims they use on GT and FPV utes

secondly the rear bar is standard issue as well as exhaust (well maybe midas couldve put a $20 chrome tip on for him)

not only is he a loser for telling u crap, but id be embarrased to drive that thing with that badge on the back!

I mean theres nothing wrong with the mods he's done to the car to make it different, but c'mon, who are u kidding with GT-P

sum poor guy with a real gt-p has scratches with where his badge is suppoesed to be on his boot

He's spent all that money bolting on parts and buying badges just to make the car look like something it isn't. I looks like crap. Especially with the roof racks.

While I was out yesterday I saw an EB or ED sedan with an XR front end from an EL. What the hell for I ask? An EL front end with an earlier model back end? What was worse, he was about 30, cruising like an 18 yr old with the sound system full blast, windows open and he was scoping all the "chicks" thinking everyone was looking at his car. "Earth to moron, Earth to moron": GO BUY AN EL.

It's the same as these idiots that are now trying to trick up their poverty special XT Faclons with an XR6T rear wing and mags.

There's a point at which bolting on parts from one car onto another model to make it something it isn't makes that person a right wa*ker. And panel swapping is one of them.

Hey it would have been pretty sweet if he hadnt put the V8 bonnet on it and the GTP badges. The wheels, stripes and the front XR bar are acceptable..

My car has FPV plates, is that wrong is it??

The fact that I bought them was for in the future if I ever end up getting a GT or GTP second hand that ill be able to use them on that, plus to show my support for FPV.

I could have bought them and put them in the cupboard, but whats the point of that???

ours has "QLD- The Sunshine State"

They are still available, however you have to ask for them. Originally when they first came out you could ask for Sunshine State, but you would get Smart Arse state standard, now its changed the other way since no one wanted them.

Neways they arent that bad, atleast the lettering was flat, it looked better instead of having the indents in it.

Getting back to the GTP wagon, 2 bad it didnt have a fully sic sunvisor on the front windscreen to go with the roof racks........

BTW when can you get a GTP wagon from your FPV dealer, I want one.....
