Finally, most of this catastrophic climate change hinges on the warming of the oceans. Even if temperatures rose by 5 degrees overnight, it would take over 1 milloin years for the ocean temperature to raise by even 1 degree, simply because they are so vast, deep and cold. You make some good points. However this one above ^^^, I seriously doubt the CSIRO has miscalculated ocean warming and ocean rising by this extent! a million years? I would like to see the science on THAT!

The question is, when in earths histoy have these changes happened so QUICKLY. ?? And lets see how long you last on a nice rich CO2 diet. Also lets take into account the huge amount of land clearing happening world wide.... And while we are at it, even if we do clean up our environment, and the climate still warms, despite the billions of dollars, we still win. I hear sunroofs will not be an option on the FG, due to structural integrity? Sunrofs rock, I love it, very pimpin, and just adds another dimension to the car from the inside and outside...a bit like the boss bonnet haha However the wind noise between 120 and say 200+ is frustating...

It could be those few extra k's up the top, or just as likely the 60ft time. Maybe he was thinking about the boss engines when he wrote this up haha

Dan by "xr8 equivalent" do you mean the GT? Becuase the GT is not going any where...not yet any way! They will probably be the car of choice when the v6 comes in!

Im quite confident the G6ET will have an LSD as far as launch control, that's just on the M6 isnt it? So it will depend on whether there is a manual option available for the luxo-barge or if its an auto only model...

Thanks! lol. Ive been for a spin in a phoon and it felt dam quick but I didnt realise that they were a low 12 sec car stock!! Crazy FMC, they need togo down toyotas path and make em more conservative...12 sec stock is dangerous for all the dumb dumbs!

Hey goobz, I too have thia problem, Ive got an XR8 with full exhaust but no edit. I found the TC wentcrazy after getting new rear tyres. The tyre guys suggested I take it to ford.. lol. So ive just been turning the tupid thing off for the time being. Seriously as if im losing traction when planting it at 100 +. Like I know how quick the 8s are and all

About 22L/100 is what I sit on around town, BP ultimate, XR8

Hey guys, I know we all suffer traction issues grr! has anyone looked at or installed the "Racelogic" traction control/launch control system. It is fully adjustable and looks to be a great product. Does anyone know if it is possible to add any of these features with the stock TC system? Could be worth a look at! Cheers, Joel

Hey guys, I recently had some new tyres fitted and the old rears binned. (the back now has my old fromts, new tread on front wheels) I had it alligned, camber sorted (front was kind of crabbing lol) and im having probs. Traction control has got skitzo, the car feels understeary (weird), traction control will often work furiously upto about 60 under medium acceleration, and even when it shifts down (auto under load) at about 120 ish it (traction colntrol) lights up and does its thing. TC also is sounding weirder than I remember, like really really gurgly. My thoughts are this: 1- Damaged ABS/traction sensor 2 - Damaged fuel pump Any help would be really appreciated! Cheers, Joel

Hey guy , I flew upto Darwin from Alice for a week with the boys. Ithe V8s were great, excellent atmosphere and lowndes was sensational. It was one Helluva week! Maybe we should have a cruise on Hidden Valley week next year when there maybe a few more fellas up there. Im keen!

Mate Xr8s are made to be driven. Im sure the car will be fine, besides you have warranty, nothing wrong with good ol' ford warranty. lol. Try Just Cars, there extras/ excess is high but my premiums are about 1600 per year(I had only JUST turned 20 when I got it last year, so the price should be similarish providing your history is good), service has been good . Good luck with what ever you choose!
