I've been doing a lot of research lately on these falcon systems, especially the ICC and dash. The dash PCBs can fail without notice due to poor manufacturing, though this doesn't sound like your issue. What exactly is happening? Are both systems not working?

Random question, anyone know if a mk2 FG instrument cluster would work in a mk1? Assuming VIN and Odometer on donor board can be updated (I theoretically can do this with the correct tools)

Found a nice wee swipe on my car this arvo after I got home from work. Funnily enough I took a photo of the car this morning because there was ice on the fkn thing it was that cold. Anyway, marks weren't there this morning so I think its happened at work. Is it really bad? No. But its fkn annoying. There goes my top coat! I wish people would be more careful, its not the first time this has happened at my work either. I've just started parking somewhere else at work too because I discovered the smokers were using my car as a leaning post when they're punching their lung busters 👌

Maybe its just me, but I find it so odd that RCAs are a common thing in automotive stereos, its not a very secure connection when it comes to vibrations and what not! The weather has been so sh*t the last couple weeks - maybe that's just Perth. Soooo much rain!

Its not a good catch can unfortunately, if I do that I'm just gonna put sh*t back in the intake. If it was a proper setup, oil air separator type deal and baffled, I'd do that 100000%. But this just chucks the breathers into a pot with a vent on it. 😂 Ngl too, don't like the look of a recirc'd catch can either lol

What are you going to do to your car... Sometime Started buying some stuff to get the battery relocated to the boot. Bought some "Spec 55" raychem 12 gauge from Mouser - aka tefzel - that I will use to redo my fuel pump wiring. Will need to redo it to run the wire to the boot. Got 11ft of red and black (about 3.3m) which should hopefully be enough, and also the correct size pins for the connector. Will order the connector kit from aliexpress I used last time because depinning the existing one will be a pita. Two main reasons I want to relocate the battery I'm sick and tired of the got awful smell from my catch can and I want to move it to the front of the engine bay - where the battery would go (after doing a 4" intake and battery relocation) My amps are in the boot and I want to run power to them using shorter cables. I'll remove the 1 awg that currently goes from the battery to the boot, and replace it with 2awg. This should be more than enough for the cars electrical system and should have little voltage drop across the length. Some napkin math shows that using 6m of 2awg and if the car is drawing 100A, I'd be losing about 0.029V across the length of the cable. This will be part of the long term changes in the boot, starting with the battery relo, then will be redoing the false floor, sub box, and amp rack. All in a bid to neaten it up and reduce weight. Will be going from dual 12" subs to a single 12" in a smaller box. Should hopefully take out a tonne of weight in the back

My power steering is still cooked 😞 3rd pump now, surely is not the pump that keeps failing? Are the racks prone to failure? running outta ideas here 😂 Its so obvious how bad my steering is when I hop into my brothers car. Maybe the Mk2's just have better pumps?

4 years on BC coilovers in WA and loving every day of it. Must admit that I did raise the car after getting the 4" zorst because it sits so fkn low! Just whack them shocks to their softest settings and you'll drive like a boat again

So the rear left speaker has started becoming possessed in the car over the weekend which is quite odd lol. Getting some hectic interference through it that wasn't there previously. If it was interference from other wiring I imagine it'd have been there from the beginning, so I'm hoping its not from the head unit 🙃 Happy PH for the rest of Aus excl WA! We seem to prefer celebrating this in sept which is quite odd lol

I agree with @k31th on this one. Without sounding rude because my intention isn't to be, did you do your homework on the purchase of this? Sounds like you didn't check out the car much, test drive or ask the prev owner about its current running state. Sounds to me like its hitting some sort of boost cut, or isn't tuned for the mods it has. Step 0 stop driving it Step 1 you must find out whats been done to the car Step 2 + will depend on the outcome of prev steps
