  1. I ended up getting the Superpro kit installed on my BF, and agree 95% of the time they are perfect and quiet but yeah agree with DRG6E there is a bit of a harmonic drone at around 80kph that does make the cabin a bit noisier. I’ve just done the blade bushes too and between the two upgrades it feels like a new car... Well worth it..
  2. @NA_TURBO looks like a solid days effort. I got the lads at PitLane Frankston to sort out mine last month. Mick did a great job putting the car back together. I did change the bump stops on mine myself though 🙂
  3. Today I got SuperPro hybrid blade bushes installed into the BF. So happy with them! That and the recent diff bushes I replaced last month and it's starting to feel like a new car to drive. Next stage is to get the front control arms done and Bilstein shocks.
  4. Thanks very much JETURBO that is a great write up. I'll give it a crack once I get some jack stands. So you reckon spring compressors are the go to make life easier when dealing with the shocks?
  5. I'm interested in doing this as well. I know SuperPro sell a complete arm with the bush which makes it a bit easier to carry out for those of us without a press. Do you need a wheel alignment once you replace them? Are there any tricks to getting them on and off or is it just a case of properly supporting the control arms off the ground to get the blades off?
  6. Thanks @k31th The car was a great purchase very happy with it 🙂 The paint work for the most part is in great condition for its age. Few marks on the paint under the LH fog lamp and some sort of scuff marks on on the rear clip need to be sorted out hopefully sometime this year then it will look perfect.
  7. Finally got my centre caps sorted. I am a big fan of the factory wheels 😍 Car got its weekly bath today. Next step is to track down an OEM lower grille so I can hide that intercooler. Don't want it to look too conspicuous 😎 Those ugly yellow plates have to go soon when I get the rego transferred. Also have to figure out how much a stage 1 mod is going to cost me (I am already caving in on the 'leave it unmodified' stance 🙂 but not too crazy) Might give Pitlane a call tomorrow.
  8. Hi Guys thanks for letting me join the forums. This is my new set of wheels. 🙂 Its the car I always wanted to own and now I finally own it! Not planning on molesting it at all as tempting as it is 🙂 Looking forward to joining a club or two in Victoria for some road trips. Quick question, my 18 inch factory alloys are missing the centre caps as you can see. Can someone confirm the correct part number is BA 1A065 B? I managed to purchase part BG 1A065 A by mistake, but Ford is happy to swap them. Just want to make sure the part number is 100%
