Hi. Where do people recommend getting their ZF built? I’m thinking of the next mod to either be built ZF for more boost or coil overs and sway bars. So far I have... Plazmaman FMIC and air filter. Process West intake manifold. Turbo high flowed (66mm compressor wheel). Wastegate ported (flapper mod). Turbo smart actuator Walbro 460 fuel pump Plazmaman valve Springs 3.5 inch turbo back exhaust ID 1050cc injectors PCM tech 15 PSI tune. 325kw

I’m guessing you need exhaust modifications to run a hi mount manifold? They wouldn’t meet up to the standard exhaust would they? Is there any benefits to using hi mount with the standard turbo?

Going in for a tune tomorrow!,, Yay. 3.5 inch turbo back Xforce exhaust Plazmaman front mount Walbro in tank pump 650cc injectors Then Sydney dragway on the 27th I have an FG manifold and Plazmaman valve springs but won’t get them fitted until a year down the track. Might get turbo stuff done with bigger injectors then too.

I have a walbro 460. Can I install it without a tune or will there be too much pressure for a standard engine?

Wallet is stretched to the limit. I’d be able to come up with the cash for a new turbo in 3 months but that would mean going without a tune for that long. No one got time for that! The car is approaching 200k. do you just have bolt ins?

Hi. Im thinking of upgrading my 2008 Territory’s turbo. I have a front mount and a 3.5 Inch turbo back exhaust at the moment. I’m also looking for an FG inlet manifold before the 1000cc injectors and tune. Should I I get the standard turbo done up or get something bigger?

I had a second hand plazmaman front mount installed. It dropped my highway fuel use from 11.3 to 10.3 !!! A local exhaust shop did a good deal on an xforce 3.5 inch turbo back system. Now I’m just trying to find some spare cash for the tune Should I get a plenum before the injectors and tune? The cost would delay my tune though :(

Yep. Intercooler, injectors, tune. Maybe the turbo in a year or two.

My tuner said to get a 3.5 inch dump pipe but there is a 4 inch one with a cat included on eBay. Any thoughts???

They cut the pipe then welded it back on. It took them less than 20 minutes!

Got debunged for $150 today:) The engine seems smoother and happier at low revs. People say it has a better exhaust note but only a keen ear will notice the difference.

I’d think there would be lots of posts about broken bits if there was a weak point..I hope

Thanks I had a login for this site in 2004 when I had a turbo Ute but don’t have that email address anymore. Totaly stock as far as I can tell. I’d just like it to be different. Nothing insane that will break drivelines or break the bank. Just want to satisfy my rebel urges knowing that it’s not stock lol.

I just got a 2008 with 188000km on it and went to ask the local tuner about mods. They said $3700 for - Debung, air filter, 1000 injectors, tuner box and hi flow cat. It seemed a little pricey to me? What do you guys think? Will I also need valve springs and a fuel pump or anything else? Ps: It needed front diff bushes done ($600 fitted) and a new drivers seat belt ($250 from ford) to pass rego.
