Hey guys So recently did a spanner check on the car hoping that everything was firm and tight, unfortunatly I found there is 2 studs and nuts missiing off my turbo flange. I have been looking into the stage 8 kit which they pretty much gaurentee they will never come off, could anyone tell me the size of stud and nut size needed for the Ba xr6 turbo t Thanks in advance. Hey guys so for ages I have been tryna find what is wrong with my car I have scanned it no codes, but I've lost power down low abit it idles like sh*t to the point it nearly stalls, I have looked for leaks and cant find anything I probably need to go get a smoke test, the idle gets worse when air con is turned on, I can hear hissing in the engine bay, under the impression it's the aircon lines, I'm ready just to go and buy a gasket tomorow and fit it up I have also been told my a mechanic that there was oil coming out of the intake manifold which I found odd. But I had a faulty pcv at one stage which I replaced, could be crank case pressure not sure, if anyone has any ideas. If not and you think the same issue please give me some info on changing it. Blocked off bov sounds like its guna stall and u lose boost with the turbo..

So tonight I brought the factory blow off valve to replace the stupid blocked off sh*t the previous owner had done I was hoping u could shed some light on where to find the vacuum line that goes into the top of the bov.

Probably be a good idea to smoke test it hey?

Also have a question keith I seem to have a high pitched squeal coming on boost at around 4000rpm, sounds boost related ive had to cable tie my bottom intercooler hose because its been a *beep* and dropped below my bar can something like that affect boost noise if its pinched in about 8cm. Cheers brother.

Thank you very much for your help keith I will source some nuts today from the local nuts and bolt shop, hoping this eliminates my annoying sound maybe will help with less of a boost leak. Would you recomend these as the stud kit for the dump pipe to turbo?

Yeah I have unis and stuff and I can get the top 2 but do I need to do.from bottom.of car? Sorry misreqd that thanks man ill give it a crack tonight I brough some m8x1.25 nuts I was told that's what I needed

Anychance of the tools I need to do it or I have multiple tools but I want to know how to tighten all 4

Is it possible to put the turbo bolts on or to I have to remove the entire thing.....again...

Hey guys ive got a horrible sound its a like skreik sound from my turbo on boost it make its bost target but sounds horribly I have got one loss manifold bolt, the turbo is missing 2 nuts which im.waiting to replace could this be the issue whats a good way to test for a boost leak cheers.

They look like mamba cheap studs, ive just ordered a whole set of locking nuts and bolt kit from gcg today. Theyre always loose lol do u have a pic of the factory setup how its supposed to look like.

So everyonr told me these nuts are 14 mm from factory can anyone explain why the eff mine are 11mm multipoint nuts

Not being rude guys but does anyone knoe exactly how to access all 4 nuts on the turbo to manifold flange. I dont want to hear the oh u use multiple sockets extentions ect, id like to knkw the exact tools u used.. Intune motorsports reckon its easy from.the bottom but hes a flop. Ford say do it from the top... Why cant anyonre tell me exactly what I need.

Yeah the nuts are missing I just tightened them up but I need new ones why cant I jist use a normal frigin tool

14mm...it was 11mm for the exhaust turbo stud bolts

Is it possible to do ot with out taking off manifold I jist replace the gasket today
