  1. Sorry on the late update, forgot about the follow up. I pulled the codes using my SCT X4 but nothing showed up, apparently the car is running smoothly. When the weather chills out I'm going to have a geeze at the throttle body and the tps to make sure nothing is dirty or faulty. Issue is still super frustrating its almost impossible to predict and as a result hard to recreate for a mechanic.
  2. Unfortunately old mate at Autotech didn't give me any proper time when I took it to him, just dismissed it as they couldn't recreate it on the day, didn't even bother to read the codes and I wasn't about to hand him more money for an issue he might've created. The car idles super smooth, even when the issue is occurring. Never had this issue when it was stock. Surprisingly enough when I drove home from work today the issue happened without any thrashing at all, it was easily 30+ degrees outside, and began once I started hitting red lights and sitting in traffic. Super annoying and was totally inconsistent. Mods are: -Plazmaman intercooler (piping retaining stock crossover) -Walbro 340 -Siemens Deka 60lb 630cc Injectors -Xforce full exhaust set up -Plazmaman stage 1 valve springs Tuned at Autotech making 275rwkw @ 10psi from memory. The spark plugs and coil packs were replaced on dyno day and was assured they were genuine by old mate at Autotech. I'm gonna go get the codes read once this holiday period is over, but my knowledge of OBD system is 0, but I'm assuming its the best step to finding out what the issue is.
  3. Ive got a walbro 340 255 and 650cc injectors as well as plazmaman valve srpings, I'm thinking about taking it to get the codes read and see if anything comes up?
  4. I drive a 2004 BA XR6T manual with a couple of mods on it and I'm at a bit of a loss as to whats causing my problem. Very occasionally, usually on a hot day, my cars throttle response becomes piss weak in the low rpm range after driving it a bit hard, almost having to put my foot on the floor to get the car rolling from a stop as I bring the clutch up. It surges when it gets to about 2300rpm and the throttle becomes responsive and drives like normal until the revs drop below 2300 or so, so shifting gears when driving regularly feels like I'm driving a slug. The reason I'm at a major loss is that I can't seem to recreate this issue consistently, the throttle is always crisp when I start the car up for the first time every day. I always let the car warm up and give it a good drive before I thrash it but this issue seems to come and go. The only thing I could think of is heat soak... the coil packs and spark plugs were replaced when the car got tuned and its been happening since then.
  5. Hey guys, I'm currently looking at the essential mods for my 2004 BA XR6T Sedan prior to a tune, hoping to achieve >300rwkw, so far I'm looking at: -Plazaman Valve Springs -Plazaman Stage 2 intercooler -Siemens 60lb 650cc injectors -Some sort of turbo back exhaust However I'm stuck for the fuel pump upgrade, does know a specific pump that'd suit my needs? Won't be running E85, only 98. I've heard the name walbro thrown around a bit, but I'm unsure of which one I'd need exactly. Cheer in advance.
