  1. Hey all, Well time has come to run the Terry down the strip, I am not sure but I think we may be the first group to run TT's down the strip!! It is nice and cool and will be a clean track, just remember to rug up as it will have a very decent wind chill factor. See you all tonight.
  2. Mine was really well welded in so don't think their was anyother way of getting the bung out with out buggering it, but well done and I guess if I had the time and a hoist I would have probably tried the same. P.S Just came back from a weekend jaunt, fuel consumption for the trip went from about 11.7-.8 down to 11.1 so about .6 to .7 ltrs/100k's better off!!!!
  3. Hey all, Just wondering if anybody would like to come to Willownbank Dragway and open up the lungs of your beasts. Their is a Test N Tune on in a fortnight tommorow (Wednesday) so was just looking for interests. Cheers Corey
  4. Not sure about you but when I put my F6 snorkel in, I had to put it in upside down to make it fit in behind the light. That may not make sense, I will try and take a pic tonight to show you. Here is another explanation. In a normal F6 the snorkel when looking at it side on kinks up, to fit in behind the lights, but because the Terrys airbox sits lower in the engine bay (which is also why we can't put the larger main snorkel from the XR6T's/XR8) I had to turn it upside so as the snorkel kinks up. Hope this helps.. COrey
  5. I'm in Brissy, their are some other guys like Zap that are going to try this on a standard TT so I will semi gauge their efforts and then try and get this done, just found out I am having another kid so time has suddenly become very short! Corey
  6. So jmi8, are just going to do the bung on a standard TT? Are you going to dyno the befores and afters?Where abouts are you? Cheers
  7. As Paulie has said in other threads, try removing the "bung" in the centre muffler before spending alot of moolah on an exhaust, they are a great standard item. Twin 2 1/4 to 3" out the back!!!! Also try the F6 or extra CAI with a filter then the CAPA flash. 13 second Territory!!!!!
  8. WOW, about as low as I have seen on this forum without being shut!!! Get in to it...............
  9. I don't know whether you have a Turbo Terry or not but they sit on about 1930 or so at 100, and at 110 it sits on 2000. Cheers
  10. I don't think he is a member of this forum but he is on fordforums!!!
  11. Has it got the side airbags? Looks like you missed out on the reverse sensors as well, but they still look the goods, their is a kashmir Ghia Turbo that lives around me as well but seems very snobby as I try and wave but he doesn't
  12. Twinpiston replied to tmac450's topic in XR6 Turbo
Talk about the Terry Turbos eating sports cars for breakfast...........
  13. Mate, mine has been ok so far, I just seem to be coming into an alignment problem about 5000ks into ownership, could just be me coming out of a modified XR8. I live in westerns suburbs and travel the centenary and ipswich motorway fairly often and this seems to soak them up nicely.
  14. Are you on the North Side of Brissy, if so I definately know whos that is, and it is currently running around 280kw at all wheels, very fast little Terry.
  15. Yeah I wouldn't mind coming for a look as well. Havn't been out their in a couple of years.
  16. Ok, something different for you all.......... Territory. Anybody seen the speakers inside the door (pics) or heard of someone replacing them, I had a funny thought they were a 5x7, but were incorporated into the door moulding. And while we are at it, the poxy little 6x9 sub, I was just going to replace it with a branded speaker with better than average low end. Any thougts lads Cheers
  17. Seems logical to me too as it is going with the momentum of the car, pull back when accelerating, push forward when braking.
  18. Yeah factory steps, they seem to look different on the white for some reason. Sig done
  19. Yeah I might do a tune a little later on but just got the F6 snorkel and K&N filter for now. Here some pics....
  20. Yeah 4 1/2 weeks, but it was a factory order
  21. Well after what seems like enternity, the car finally arrived and I will hopefully pick it up Friday, will post pics when I can!!! Just in time before the big storm through SEQ as well.
  22. I hope they don't put the XR6T engines up, I am waiting on a Terry Turbo and they are suppose to be the same, unless they put them up as well, which they won't cause they have only been out 2 months.
  23. $65900 with a lot of options, just hard bargaining.... in QLD
  24. You can order the Hayman Reese Style 1600kg removable tongue towball. Just say it at order time, that is what I am getting for my terry. Don't go the Ford OE one, for the above reasons.
