  1. I was close
  2. Wake up Geoff by the wiggles Disclaimer- I thinks it's Geoff - please insert correct name if I'm wrong
  3. You were right
  4. I thought tassie was bigger than that
  5. The car I did we only did the manifold to turbo, but if your turbo is coming loose it may be enough to start shaking to cause the dump to come loose.
  6. The radius of a circle is a straight-line drawn from the center of the circle to any point on its circumference . The symbol p is called pi and is approximately equal to 3.141592654 , most high school teachers use it to two decimal places as 3.14 p is the ratio between the circumference and the diameter of a circle ..I.e p = (circumference / diameter ). Interestingly the value of p is the same for any circle ... Area of circle = p x ( radius x radius ) = p radius2 if the Radius = R then Area of circle = pR2 = p x R x R EXAMPLE. Find the area of the circle with radius 10 cm ..use p as 3.14 Answer Here we have : Radius = 10 cm p = 3.14 Using the formula Area of circle = p radius2 = p x radius x radius replacing radius with 10 cm and p with 3.14 in above formula we have Area of circle = p radius2 = p x radius x radius = 3.14 x 10cm x 10cm = 3.14 x 100 cm2 = 314 cm2
  7. Good to see you get it sorted out, good on ya for reporting back what the problem was
  8. pye x (radius x radius)
  9. Pipe is always measured outside and hose is measured inside. You have a 3" dump
  10. Did you measure the outside?
  11. DOH!
  12. or eBay for a Monza sorry couldn't help myself
  13. 3" dump and then twin 2.25" to the end
  14. I have used inconel studs and the glenlock nuts with a new gasket on the turbo to manifold mount. I purchased mine from Nizpro, but be warned they appear a little dear compared to normal studs and nuts, but if they stop your problems it will be worth it. I beleive some of the problem is not just the nuts vibrating loose, but the studs themselves begin to stretch with heat and the load from tension, once they stretch enough it is as if the nuts are now loose and are free they vibrate off.
  15. If it's the turbo munting bolts that are coming loose, try fitting some inconel studs and glenlock nuts.
  16. There is no injector scaling option at all, the only fuel option is percentage difference at WOT, in theory there may be enough room to move to get your WOT fuel close to being correct, but you still have no lower throttle control of the injectors.
  17. It's impressive, but I don't beleive that is it's latest version Edit: Doh, too slow typing
  18. You are also going to need a new tune when you change injectors
  19. My last one got posted out on wednesday, I'm not at work at the momment so I havn't refreshed stock. I could get one next week but that's not going to help for the weekend
  20. I've never sold a Livewire due to the issues Capa have had, so I have no actual experience with them. A flash2 will enable to still store 3 tunes plus your factory tune (as the normal flash box would) But when Danny loads your tunes on to it, he can option it with the ability or not, whether to let you make any available changes to the tunes. You can datalog using it in conjunction with a laptop and live link and have access to any PIDs that tuners can access. Sayig that though, I have had a couple of cars that it would not read any PID information from their processor codes, but I'm assuming yours is using A3HD and I can get that datalogging info from the ECU. I have had some cars that would would allow some logging but not all the PIDs were available to log. You can also retreive and clear some generic trouble codes from the ECU as well as read the tune strategy code. You can not read any live data on it's screen though, if that's what you were trying to do with the livewire. If it does all that you want, ask capa to swap it over for you and give you a partial credit
  21. Where and when did you buy it Jimmy? The reason I ask is Capa recalled the livewires a while ago and held back releasing them again because there was software issues with them working correctly with our cars. If you have just bought one locally get them to check whether it is an old one or not, if bought it in yourself you may have to deal with SCT - who arn't great with dealing with us Aussies. Let us know how you get on
  22. I personally think that a 3.5" single would probably be more than what's needed for 330-360 Anyone chasing high 300's to 400's probably a 4" single, but you better off talking to a few of the guys that are running 400's
  23. It doesn't work like you need to use your maths skills to work it out. pye*(r squared) and to be 100% exact you need to take into account the wall thickness of the pipe being used
  24. Then Capa/SCT would start to charge license fees for each car tuned, like some other forms of car tuning software companies do.
