G'day all, Im running a 5spd Manual that has just lost 3rd gear.... Whoops... I think 400+ will destroy most of the fatory drive line...lol I dont really have any vids of it Rob, Very hard to drive and take vids...lol For anyone interested My Ute is on the cover of Perfomance Ford Mag due out next week. G'day all. Just thought I would put up a little post in this section. Some of you know me and lots of you dont. I have an 03 BA XR8 UTE, that I bought new. I have been modding it from the day I picked it up, there have been lots of stories I could tell. The good the bad and the broken.... I have broken just about everything Ford ever released them with. I reckon I should be given the top job at the proving ground. Anyway, It has been a long on going road over the past 4 years. Most recently I have had a full engine rebuild with all the goodies, H-Beams, pistons,arp studs, heads ect. I have had the Yella Terra Blower kit fitted with the water to air inter cooler option. Im running approx 13 pound of boost. In a recent dyno comp my Ute produced a healthy 417.9rwkw on 98 pump fuel. I was more than happy to say the least. There is still more left in it that's for sure. Greatings all. Just thought I would let you that The G&D Jet Ran on sat and posted a best time of 11.231 @ 119.33 with a 1.571 60 foot time. Still runing the factory converter..... Cheers......Kev.

Hey Gary, You better put me down as a maybe... I will try and bring the big V8 out to keep you guys honest... . P.S. I assume the radio's you refer to would be UHF not CB.

Just thought I would post this here. The G&D Jet (Xr6 T) just ran 11.3 on its first pass before breaking a CV. Very nice for a factory auto and stall....

Hey I have seen these gauges in person and I like them. In my opinion the look better than alot of the other ones available. No crappy plugs or screws. Just my 2 cents. Kev

Thank you very much XR6TUte and Goldbullet. You have both done an outstanding Job. And thank you to Calder Park for the little extra's Not that it matters now but I wont be racing. Trust me this was not an easy decision. It will be the first time I have been a spectator and not a racer at calder. If anyone needs to put some stuff in the back of my ute, Wheels, jack what ever just let me know. Kev..............

Stock what??? Internals ON another note. I will not be racing friday night. I cant decide if I should now ran at both Dyno days. Problem is I have a fair idea of what the car does and money is tight. Might just go for a look at Nizpro then run at HPF.

Looking forward to it..... Just hope for a decent reading with all the turbo boys an gals. Forced power kicks ar$e at a fraction of the cost.

Thanks Dan, How ever there is a little more to it than just a tow. Scotty said he will tow it for me if I hire a trailer. So that's cool. 1st problem is. I want to race in race trim but I would need to have the car back in street trim for the dyno day.(Tail gate easy, Wheels easy, Exhaust not so easy) 2nd Problem and most inportant is. I cant afford to break anything at the track and I just know a Tail shaft CV is going to let go sooner or later. Im still paying off the credit card after the last round of driveline failure.Wrecker's quoted me $1000 for 2nd had Tail shaft.

We have been stirring the 2 of them a bit on Rob's forum. Wondering which one we could get on stage first....lol Sure I could have a quiet talk to Craig and get them dragged up there. I belive 1 of them was even interested in pole dacing lessons
