the fuel economy dosent worry me I get 7l/100km sumtimes less but with my gas injection I get 1 tank of diesel to 1/2 a tank of gas so I was just trying to make it so I could hav a 120L-140L diesel tank to last me the whole 28L of gas

Ok so now I dont own the T ne more I got the ranger instead.... looking at gettin a larger capacity fuel tank or drop tank etc... anyone know of places that make them or I can get advice from? preferably in nsw please. spoke to a few 4wd places coz I was sure someone would b making kits 4 them but that just stared at me with a blank look on their face thanks guys

Anyone using a Uniden UH015sx If so what do you think?

Thanks twisty....makes alot of sense looking at the diagrams both of my antennas are 4.5 - 6 db just did a little drawing of both antennas on the car so effectivly both of these antennas would work exactly the same if they where on the car like in the pic right? if they were a different db rating then it would b a different story

um arnt their computer, screens and cameras set up on their dash illegel? surely those screens could b distracting them while driving or their cameras cud well interfiere with their vision while driving just like the cops say gauges do? god its hard to express sarcasim in text mabe they just dopped themselves in for defects to their nanas hyundai

ok so I got to ariels one is 600mm tall the other is 300mm tall trying to decide which 1 to use my question is. if they were mounted so the top of the ariel is at the same hieght then would there b any disadvantage using the 300mm ariel? hope that makes sense.....thanks

Just need a quick answer guys. are you able to use a rich/lean mixture gauge on a diesel? reason I ask is a mate of dads is sellin is semi track car but hes taking a heap of gear off it 1st so im going to get his boost and oil presure gauge from him and mabe his rich/lean fuel mixture gauge too if it will work on a turbo diesel thanks guys

haha yeah I can fit my bikes in this 1...just my road bike has gota be diagonal but I can deal with that and the back door opening up makes the back of the cab so much bigger and useful

Picked it up last saturday... just gota get the windows tinted...uhf hooked up and the lpg injection after its run in.. no more mods on this thing.....spent to much money on doin up cars atleast ill be able to get some work done with this ute

hold your revs up round 2500 3000 for a few sec first then give it a few pumps and you'll get the noise your after.....you just gota get some boost happening first

our06t it runs on diesel all the time and injects lpg when its on boost looks like id best be payin off my bike n gettin serious about 1 of these its been really tough tryin to decide between a ranger n xr6t ute I know they r both diff utes but at the end of the day I always end up thinkin about pulling into the petrol station n puttin 70L of premium in then tank n only gettin 450 - 550 km n thinking to myself its not really worth it as much as I loved my EL xr turbo n would love a ba/bf I just think its going to use to much juice ill just leave my fun to the bike get 4.5L/100km on that as well as fun

regards to the lpg my mechanic is running a setup on his rodeo ute torque went from 314nm to 707nm on stock boost gets 2800km from 160L of diesel n 28L of gas only injects gas when its on boost. he charges $3700 n then u get $2000 back off the government so effectivly $1700 even less if u do it urself the hardest/longest part is mounting the tank...takes him 1 - 2 hours to do all the under bonnet stuff...n the system is totally removable if I wanna take it out.... also has a switch on the dash to turn it on n off if u like the system is called 'eco-shot'

they also come in 4x2 3L high rise....that's wot ill b gettin...I dont need the 4wd but I want the higher stance ...makes it easier to get onto job site n stuff. thanks 4 the reply on the cooler mate

didnt really know where to post this but your all turbo guys so surely some of u would be able to help. so im pretty keen on a ranger 2x4 3L turbo diesel seeing as I gota think a bit more for work now n not play....and the ranger seems to fit wot I need all round... probly not long after I get it ill b gettin lpg turbo diesel injection.... more turque n better fuel economy will suit me just fine. what I want to know is would an intercooler upgrade make any difference on a diesel??? I know they r better on petrol engines ...but if its worth it for the diesel then of corse ill look into it thanks guys

cars dont feel fast after being on a bike ull probly find a 250 will leave u for dead intil about 140 then they dont hav enough torque to keep pulling 600 750 1000 sports bikes..lol....see ya later it is funny though when cars pull up next to u n want to run.. letm go then pass them on the back wheel if u beat a half - decent sports bike n win....just put it down to them not having the balls to twist the throtle hard enough

im not to interested in mods ...just exhaust n tune...cooler to probly u wouldnt need to much power t hav fun in a ute ill b gettin a bike soon so that will take care of most of the fun side of things nuthin seems to go fast after being on a bike so im not gonna spend to much on mods for the ute
