  1. For premium sound... http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=13159
  2. Heh, lets hope someone else thinks the same who hasn't got one yet. They will love the car, unfortunetly till I get my p's the Ford is rarely driven, hence the 5000k's, as we have 3 cars and the Ford is always in the Garage and my parents just drive the other 2 cars cause they are always in the driveway, so whoever does but it, will be very happy with the condition. When I get my p's and my parents hand over their other car to me then they will always drive the Ford, so we though why not sell it, get a new one while we can with the little amount of k's it has.
  3. Ahh well, we aren't that stupid! We wouldn't even bother changing if we would lose money. We bought the car for about $34000 with the Ford employee discount, now if we sell it for 34500 we break even and get upgraded to MK2 for pretty much no extra cost with the same extra's we had first time, but with extra things like traction control and what not. We will definetly option the 18"s this time though, they look awesome.
  4. Good man, gotta stick with the blue oval Get the MKII, N/A all the way! Julza Yeah, I think the 2nd Hand Turbo would be out of the question as they aren't really looking for performance and I don't think life would be the same without Leather Seats and Premium Sound...!
  5. My parents are looking at getting either a Mk2 XR6 (N/A) or maybe a second hand Turbo. But of course, we are sticking with the Fords!
  6. Love it man, looks better without the C2R badge.
  7. I am actually starting my own Car type site, that will go live by the end of the year, so if anyone get's some high quality photo's of some cars please PM me the details so I can grab them off you. Paul
  8. The factory BA speakers are actuially 7" x 5" Oh ok, pardon my mistake.
  9. Here and there. You should be a good boy and share! I can't share the entire thing as I don't think I am allowed to, but if you need certain parts give me a hoy and I will take some shots.
  10. Here and there.
  11. I found it weird they mounted the amplifier on the left hand side, considering the fuel tank receptor is near by, wouldn't be healthy if there was a spark or something of the sort.
  12. Yep, all done.
  13. I have plently more pics, so if anyone needs a guide to removing the parcel shelf cover or the side curtain just give me a hoy and I will show you the pictures. I have also attached to this, the section in the workshop manual that descibes that at 90 degress the amplifier will autmatically turn off.
  14. This is a closeup of the writing on the subwoofer.
  15. This is a closeup of the writing on the 6x9. All the speakers have Pioneer labelling on them too.
  16. This is a shot of the sub-woofer, as you can tell it is pretty deep.
  17. This is a shot of the 6x9 on the parcel shelf.
  18. This is a closeup of the writing on the amp.
  19. This one is another shot of the Amplifier.
  20. Well, incase anybody was interested I made a little collage of images to display the Ford amplifier and the rear speakers on the parcel shelf. This first one is the amplifier.
  21. Damn, those rims look really...small, maybe just the camera angle.
  22. Try 1700kg. Ive been on a public weighbridge to obtain this figure, tank was almost empty if I recall. I wasnt in vehicle at the time. If you have all the options on the car and have 2 people in there you would easily be getting close to 1.9 tonne.
  23. 'gti-r man', you have to remember that the XR6T weigh's close to 1.9 tonne...not really a fair challenge.
  24. I actually taped the show on Digital on the PC. So if anyone wants a copy, I would be happy to stick it on a cd if you cover postage. Unfortunetly it wasn't in widescreen, The Car Show usually is, but this time around it was in 4:3. Paul
  25. Yeah, I got to drive it for the week , from a 3L V6 camry to a 5.4L V8 GT...all I can say is...FUN! the power was awesome and burnouts were a plenty. Yeah, it is Harvest Green, sorry about the photo though, a bit hard to see its real color, my parents bought the Harvest Green because they didn't see too many others on the road and it is very modest and impressive. Coupled with all the options it is excellent, and it has heaps of go off the line, the torque is pretty good on the N/A's. Yeah, FPV gave us the car for the week (thanks very much to FPV, happiest week of my life) apart from the color the car was awesome.
