One of the best twin turbo jobbies was on the Mitys galant, 2.0l V6. It used a very small turbo upto 2500 then the large on kicked in. There was no lag at all. My mates put 350kw at all four wheels with minimal mods. I think a twin setup would be to difficult on the T however a supercharged turbo might be the way to go

Obviously you do not read your vehicle specification, every ford comes with factory rust fitted A long time ago I worked for a rust protection company, Ford were actual one of the better makes out there for factory rust. Expensive Daewoo would take the cake for factory fitted rust.

I had a similar experience and got spanked badly. The new 6l has got a bit of poke when modded. He was running hi flow zorst, CAI and remapped ECU. I beat him in pulling a side though You never look bad even when you loose if you go sideways for 100m down the road.

Is there any on the Gold Coast or Southside of Brisbane anyone would recommend?? I would prefer to use mutol oil, has anyone had any problems?? Yes I have done a search and found nothing.

I am now due for my 15k service, does this have to be done by ford to keep my warranty?? I would sooner have a pack of monkeys service my car, wait that is ford.

It took me all day to get the tow bar fitted, I had to drive to the dealer, go home then drive back to the dealer. I did not even get my hands dirty.

Sorry about the lateness of my reply had to duck interstate, will take some more photos on the weekend, no I did not cut a hole in the carpet, however did make some small slot at the rear to allow a little more stretch. You will have to turn the spare tyre up the other way and take out the piece of board so the extension where the subwoofer sits inside the tyre. FYI the sub box is about 48l, it has 2 50mm ports which are 78mm long it is tuned to 32Hz and the port have a coefficient less than 0.15 so they don’t whistle. The port size and length will be different for every woofer.

The box is made out of12mm MDF and has been fibre glass reinforced, it is light enough to lift out in the event of a flat. There is also a panel that covers the woofer so you can put stuff in the boot.

Here is a pic of the subwoofer box I knocked up over the weekend. It fits flush with the floor in the boot and sit in the spare tyre well.

I know your pain well, I have had the car three months and been back to Ford 5 times, Tailshaft reblance, Replacement rear screen, Reflash (missing), Boost spikes, Full repaint front bar, Repaint rear pillar. Still there is so much play in the driveline it just about gives you wip lash between gears, misses around 3000RPM, further paint problems still to be fixed. And the common problem of fast diminishing rear tyres

When you drift traction should be broken, to be technically correct the tail should be leading, however this is very hard in the T as heavy in the rear. After a couple of week of owning my T I still can not do it, have spun several times trying.

I am wondering has anyone tried to drift your T on a regular occasion. Any parts broken? Any mods req? Iam new to the forum I picked up my T this week. BA MKII Manual, Premium sound, Toxic paint. I have come from driving a lancer, anyone who states you cant drift a FWD is not trying hard enough. I was a regular at QLD raceway.
