  1. Indeed! It was either wait for another 6-8 weeks for annual leave at work or pay about $260 for the week for a rental car. I thought well stuff it... I'm spending a good amount of $ here so why not go all out luxury and get myself a Hyundai rental for the week... Jack
  2. All booked in now! Car will be delivered to Blue Power on Friday afternoon after work and they will have it for the following week. I've organisied a rental car lol A full sick hektic Hyundai Getz 3 door manual... Excited much? Yep! You betcha! Rental car... not so much :/ Jack
  3. Sticky tyres I've got! Time off right now from work I don't... Ansy... lol Jack
  4. Thanks mate! Put the pressure on! What will my car run stock? 220rwkw? I'm doing my best to add to that lol maybe +130rwkw. Rome wasn't built in a day! haha It better have been built in 3 weeks or I'll start getting a bit crazy :D Jack
  5. 3 days of no modding... I'm getting a bit ansy haha... Just washed the car 2 times in the last 3 days. Oh yeah! Love a black car... and Melbourne weather. Now trying to get the time from work to get the car in to Blue Power Racing... bad Homer on my right shoulder is just telling me to relocate the airbox and battery and be done with it. He does have a point... do it once and do it right. Haha Jack

And here I was thinking that you were in sales Buffy... you were when I last me you, just out of Colgate if I recall correctly... Clearly now you are in mining. Thread mining. Jack
  7. Rockstars are an awesome wheel! On a G6E not so sure, but you have the best chance of them working. Black on white. Jack
  8. They are on my kitchen bench. Not sure what to do with them? Any ideas? I thought about putting them on eBay. Don't really use eBay though. If I could get a slab or two of beer for them and you pay for the transfer then you never know. You might have a sale! Jack
  9. Thanks Brian! It's been a while! I still remember the ride I had with gogo through the snowies in your blue car. Stall... etc. Oh my god... I think I filmed the roof for about 20 seconds lol Crazy car. I'm back now... to stay too. Hope you are well mate! Jack
  10. They can but even when I had the XR6T8U I still had plenty of people asking questions... The bloke at VicRoads today picked the old ones... couldn't for the life of him work out what the new ones meant. As I said to the neutral observer you wouldn't know the difference. Just the way I like it! Jack
  11. Sorry lads... stock as a rock outside. Even when you pull the bonnet latch. I want those that don't know to not know what they are missing. Jack
  12. Stock mate... all the way. See the rotors and you'll know it's not a stocker. Hear it go and you'll know it's not a stocker. Look at it parked up and you'll stuggle to pick the difference in ride height. What they won't see... GTX 35/82R :D Jack
  13. My new plates arrived today. A bit of reminicing in them. A reminder is all I need. This one unlike the last one will never be for sale. This is now my car. I'm back! Jack
  14. Have a crack at it mate. It really isn't that hard and as soon as you start at it you'll want to keep going as the bits you've already done will look brilliant. Self fulfilling mate. Start with the fuse box lid, take it off and do it by hand off the car, then see that and it'll be looking like mine in no time flat! Jack
  15. Thanks lads... just grab 2 beers and what I pictured above and you'll be right! Jack
  16. New ones? New pipes? I gave it a bit of a clean up with a wet rag a couple of days ago after I couldn't find any (insert Armour All equivalent) in the shed. We have got everything else... that in itself took 30 mins or so. I don't muck around though. It would've been so much easier if I'd just done it with what I used the first time. For interest sake I used Meguiers Hi-Gloss Classic Shine Protectant. It come up a treat!! The top part of the airbox is going to need to be removed to really get in to it but stupid little plastic blowmoulding spots but unless you're really looking (which I am) then it doesn't need to be done. Jack
  17. Bit dusty... Might need a clean! So a little bit of work (about 30 mins or so) and that ugly POS up there /\ ... is now... Jack
  18. Yes mate, straight swap! Part numbers as follows: Front rotors DBA42107S Rear rotors BDA4505S I don't know hich is which for the pads so will list both. DB1376ULT DB1473ULT Sorry mate freeze_DK can't even ballpark it mate. Sworn to secrecy. You should be able to get trade price if you shop around mate. Jack
  19. Trade is a good price mate. Tell your mate you want closer to staff price and see how you go! Jack
  20. TRA1NR. My housemate works in the wholesale automotive industry. Sorry bud, can't disclose the price. I know it's crap mate. But as it works with lots of stuff it's not what you know it's who you know. Trust me, if you speak to the right people in the right places you would be amazed what you can get. Don't be afraid to shop them all either. Good example of this, I just bought my Dad a brand new car yesterday. Ford Fiesta 2012 plated car for just over 16k on the road delivered to the house, full of fuel with mats and weather shields. It is essentially a wholesale price from Ford plus on roads. I got this through a chance meeting mate. Jack
  21. Hey Tab! Welcome back to me... except from MS... haha! Jack
  22. Thanks mate! Absolutely going for the sleeper look. Stock wheels. Slightly lower than stock ride height. The only give away will be the shiny intercooler out the front but even that will be well hidden away by all the 'stuff' that is on the front of these cars! Nice!! Jack
  23. That it does MS... time that is. Give me a chance mate. I only started modding it 2 weeks ago. And on that it now not only handles... but it stops too! UPDATE! Only took 1 day! DBA4000 T3 slotted rotors with Bendix Ultimate pads all round. Fronts... Rears... First impressions are very good. Great pedal feel. Instant bite and they give a great amount of feedback through the pedal. It's all coming together now. Jack
  24. Cheers Dags!! One of the first to put 20's on a BA lol, up until recently it was still on the The Tyre Factory website all of 6 or so years later!... now all the cool kids are putting on 22's! They look crazy too! This one... going for a stock look. Not a trouble maker Jack
  25. Cheers boys! Yeah it would've been around that time mate... I sold it as it needed diff bushes, diff seal and new tyres. That's all. Jesus I was stupid. At the time I just couldn't justify spending anymore money on it. Where does it end you know? Built engine etc... the benefit of hindsight has provided me with wisdom. Do it right the first time and KEEP THE BLOODY THING lol... I ended up selling it for 26.5k without a RWC. Considering how much money I spent I got roughly half of it back including the purchase price... not good. Won't be happening this time I can tell you right now. Jack
