It is not just the straight line performance, but also the around corner stuff to. It is not like just traction control, you guys need to drive it in the skid pan to experiance it.

I would not reccomend running the car with the modified dump with out a tune. The exhaust gass flow is increased and the computer will not like the 2ed O2 sensor being disconnected without the bypass being done in the tune.

It opened my eyes to the manual option.

You could have bought a FG XR6T and been a car length in front of where you are now

Umm big talk ........ Jetter HAS currently more KW in his shed than you have in your dreams, I dont think he is at all chicken sh*t. I think you miss understand the term Launch Control Power the the ground is different to power to the rollers a lesson I think you will learn soon. Good luck, you'll need it with a manual F6 BF.

Sorry Scotty The (Manuals) comment only refers to the Launch control section of the sentance. Every thing else is the same on the auto, TC DSP

No different box, That is exactly why I did not purchase the BFII manual too clumky umm "In the know" Im not sure Advantage III shows this data relating to the unused Traction Control Fields (Unused in BF). I know danny can see it

Yes on the new FG the "Traction control" is called DSC when you turn it off it turns off the Stability control and Traction Control and Launch Control (Manual) All in one simple button Jetter drove around all the time with DSC off just frying the tyres...... umm cant take him anywhere LOL

You are on the right track. The manuls will be the hot ticket. How different the BF is to the FG, it is not only the launch control but the FG also has a different gearbox............ totally different drive. Is F6 0002 a manual ?

Drive away no need to "run it in" After the treatment dished out to those cars today, smoking brakes frying tyres I am suprised they still run at all.

A very good question. You would loose boost during gear change but on the other side of the coin you are not loosing as much RWKW via the gear box ? Does one cancel the other ? Time will tell. I was always a Auto driver until today. The gearbox is very very smooth and the shifter is mounted higher in the center console.

It should be ok as long as you dont drill out the injectors .

If you listen to the Video you can hear the car in "Launch Mode" this is with the throttle flat to the floor, boost is set at 20% and RPM limited to 3500 with 2 Cylinders off line. AKA Indy car pit lane limiters When the cluth is released bye bye XR6T Yes it smoked all autos today and all this week In the background you can hear Dick Johnson commenting on how it works. His son "Son of Dick Johnson" is the driver, this was his first drive of the manual with launch control. His words were "You can feel the instant boost all they way off the line, very impressive" Umm F6 Manual ..............

Oh yea....... There were alot of very suprised ppl today. The power and conrol is one of the best, the stability control is fantastic. I threw the car in to a big drift with control OFF and power side around the corner in the wet. Turn control ON and repeat the event...... as soon as the drift opend up the control "cleaned" its self up. I cant explain it very well, it allowed the drift to start but then made the exit smooth and controlled. The strange thing is that with control ON racing STEVE JOHNSTON most drivers could be with in 2 seconds per lap....... but with control OFF it was a different story with cars flying off the track / stones and rock flying, trying to keep up LOL.

Well today I went on the FG BBF Drive day here in Brisbane. WOW As some of you know I have had a few Falcon Turbo,s and know how they drive. But after driving the new FG for most of the day I can say with out doubt it is the best STOCK car I have driven. We drove most of the range on a 1.5 Hr drive through the Gold coast hinterland. The same track TAB took us on for one of the club cruises. Imagine how much fun it was in a FoMoCo supplied car. JETUTE was also their for the day, contributing to the shreading of tires and brakes LOL. Started off the trip in the XR6T manual WOW ........... this car hauls ass. Launch control on the manual wiped the floor with ALL THE AUTOS OFF THE LINE ALL DAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think there will be a new quarter mile hero in the near future. Then jumped in the G6E TURBO Auto - G6E - XR8 Auto - XR6T Auto. The second half of the day was Skid pan. Yes that’s correct FoMoCo supplied half a day skid pan / motokana style work, with race against Steve Johnston and co. Videos to follow. Those who have Stock F6 / Xr6T should be weary these new FG’s, they are true weapons. James

Senna_T Who gets the build plate No001 of the FG F6 ? A dumb question can you order this car ? I am waiting for the new F6 the local dealer is not much help
