  1. Are these the best you got. I should crack out some photos of myself
  2. hey I have a 2005 ba mk2 ute xr6 turbo and I have never let the dealers touch it. Nothing wrong yet, but I have only done 6000km thou. The steering sometimes makes a ticking noise near the steering wheel when changing direction, but I will live will it rather than take it to a dealer.
  3. hey fellow T owners does anyone whats the best suspension packages for the ba ute? I was wanting something like what the v8 brute utes run or better. Anyone know what I should get?
  4. I just thought the whole concept of weight reduction would make the ute go faser around a track. Maybe handling will be worse, but a faster lap time still might be achieved.
  5. Yo Tein is apparently bring out a suspension packages for the ba falcon. To be released in around a months time as tested on cars is still being performed, if anyone is interested a group buy would be a great idea. Tein is recognised as the best shock to come out of japan and it should be the best value dampener for our cars, its gonna be fully adjustable too.
  6. nah, I'm not willing to do that
  7. Well I like the ute more than the sedan and I may use it for work, but its too new for that right now especially since I work with concrete.
  8. hey I'm considering removing the rear tray on my 2005 xr6 turbo ute as a method of improving the handling of the ute, what do you reckon?. Also how much does the xr6 ute try weigh?
  9. How much is the dealer software?
  10. if your right about canbus being on the 2005 mustang, it just shows that we are been milked on the old stock from sct.
  11. how did that guy get his front bumper? The front spoiler has the undertray already moulded to it, doesn't it?
  12. hey does anyone know who sells actual v8 supercar spoilers and side skirts? Are they carbonfibre or fiberglass?

Man, you can't trust anyone these days!!
  14. don't waste you time on the n/a. I don't think it would be that hard to convert your car to a turbo. I reckon buy the turbo parts needed and when your old enough slap them on. What state do these rules apply in? If I was you I would just pay the fine.
  15. get the bearing number or better yet take the bearing out and go to a bearing shop and get a new one with the same specs.
  16. hey street tuner if the aussie ford and american fords run the same computer why would the software be any different? Logically the same software should do everything on any car running the ford computer. And why can't we have the xcal 2 yet? it does the same thing as the flash 1 tuner, but with even more options to use. It also makes it a hell of a lot easier for the home tuner. Maybe that's why we don't have it in australia as it will kill business for tuners like you, being a small market already. I don't want to cut anyones lunch, but I really want to tune my own car, as I wont even let the dealer touch my car. It has never had a dealer or workshop service ever and it never will. I do service it myself thou.
  17. has anyone done modifications to improve the control blade irs? in ther form of custom adjustable control arms with rose joints holding it together.
  18. on my car their 245's, but I can't be stuffed checking what type thou.
  19. I would also like to have more info on the Ford VCM Suite. Sounds like its superior, but may also be more cost effective and be the latest version. Capa is still selling us the old version of the flash unit. The latest verion the xcalibrator 2 has been out for like 2 years already. Australia is being used as a dumping ground for the old stock of the flash unit.
  20. I reckon the ute looks better than the sedan. Also with a irs rear end it should handle better and be more perfomance friendly in the most extreme setup. It also has 2 doors and not 4.
  21. Name: Jordan Stepanuleski Age: 23 Occupation: concrete pump operator and concrete finisher, I work for my old man. Car: 2005 ba xr6 turbo ute 6 speed
  22. man a 4 link is still not my cup of tea, its a very old setup. Sure the v8 supercars use them, but that's only due to cost factors. Is the ford control blade irs as good as a silvia or r32 gtr irs setup?
  23. Your right about that, in a drag racing point of view. For cornering the leaf springs can make the ute very unpredictable at racing pace. For drifting its ok, but the ute also lacks enough lock for some situations.
  24. Hey Has anyone tried to fit up a bf or ba sedan irs to a ba or bf ute? I've been looking at their undercarriages and I think its quite possible to do. Has anyo0ne tried this? I am sick of the leaf spring on my ute, its good for what it is though.
  25. hey those last pictures of the crewmen was Expensive Daewoo at its finest! ,but the wing on the maloo might actually might work as its in pure unobstructed airflow. It still looks sh*t though. Good work
