Welcome mate, I have had 3 LS1's from vt through to vy, and like to mod all my cars. This is my favourite car in terms of bang for buck factor and the ease in which it responds to mods and how much easy power they can produce. None of my former cars get close to the T and mind you with half the amount outlaid.. Also a good time to get into the T with a lot of tried and tested cars with numbers on the board, not to mention the release of edit and various tuners now proficient in using it.. Good luck in ya search for one..
  2. Sounds good mate, will be good to catch up with ya, and I reckon you might go close to cracking an 11 Let that backyard tuner guy no his work is appreciated.. Why dont we see if we can get a decent turn out of T's from here and make a night of it.. Let us no what date you have in mind and we can whack it in the events and see whos interested.. These Vic boys seem to be setting the way with so many quick T's running regularly, we should try to follow suit and get a good turn out...

Geez we have some options now, thanks mate
  4. Found these babies
  5. Should have some pics in a few days, once the mob that takes the burnout pics etc upload them to their site. I'll whack em up when they are available mate
  6. I managed a 12.59 @ 112 tonight. I am very happy with this for the amount of bucks I have spent on my car. Had 4 runs with a few 12.7s and a 12.6. I ran the car with a lower boost map tonight as I was having trouble with overboost with the extreme cold mornings anything below 10 degrees ambient would see me getting boost cut, so have been running a more conservative boost map and tonight was bloody mild, ambient around 20 the whole night so wasnt running to its full potential with boost peaking at 11psi.. Gonna head back in a few weeks with my 14psi map to see what I can achieve.. Can see this addiction is gonna start costing me more now, wheres that new intercooler
  7. Vixen red mate. You running ya beast or just watching ? See ya there..
  8. Only short notice but am heading out with a mate tonight for a few runs, if any nsw members are keen to meet up come and say hello. Look for my red xr6t or white xr8. Hope it stays nice and cool hopefully will improve pb's ..
  9. Heres a pic where my switch is locates in the drinks holder, nice and discreet. Its the metal togglw switch, the other plastic toggle is my boost map selection switch. toggle switch location
  10. For your interest , I get alot more loss of traction even with TC on (since getting to 260+rwkw), turn it off and bye bye tyres generally ... I am not hard on my car and am not too power hungry .. but generally I drive in Sydney Traffic in peak hours and only really got the kit installed for when I want to be hard on it ... leave that to your imagination Where are those LS2's .... Cheers, Jason <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Same symptoms for me, traction control cant cope very well at all.. Dunno if its just my car but anyone else get backfiring when giving it a bootful with tc still active ?
  11. Now that's what I wanna hear!! How long have you been running with that kind of power for? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Up until a month ago was at 280, and for the last month 290.. So 4 months and seems fine. Have heard of people with a lot less have problems though, could just be lucky or driving style but have had a couple of trips to wsid also. After I get a new intercooler will probably look at strengthening as should be over 300rwkw and cant see it coping with that much punishment for extended periods of time..
  12. Chris if your interested I wouldnt mind trading steering wheels with you, swap plus some extra your way of course. Let me know mate
  13. When first fitted I was at a point where I was turning it on and off depending on what map I was running or driving conditions. Nowadays it stays on 24/7 as I am no longer used to the slushy feel of the standard change. I dunno if its just me but it seems to respond to the load on the engine ie- even in heavy stop start traffic I can hardly notice the changes now, but with a decent bootful you can notice the firm changes get firmer?? Perhaps I am just desensitised a bit. Box still holding together fine with 290rwk and no other auto mods as yet.
  14. that's an amazing return on investment Assuming you picked up 90rwkw that's $39/rwkw. Can anyone else beat that?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I can, (USED)APS exhaust - 780 used exed (I fitted) - 850 430cc injectors/connectors - 430 ebay k&n filter - 70 home cai - 40 shiftkit/fitting (I fitted) - 75 $2,245 293rwkw. and I have had three dyno runs before and after the exhaust was don to check on AFR, cost $80. each so add $240. total $2,485. Picked up 94.6 RWKW that's $26.26 per RWKW. only drama now is rear tyres, smoke smoke smoke. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You win.
  15. here is my list.. APS exhaust - 1900 used exed+fitting - 850 430cc injectors/connectors - 500 k&n filter - 100 home cai - 30 shiftkit/fitting - 150 $3,530 290rwkw.
  16. I recall a few members had this happen to their turbos.. Just wanted to no the best way to go to get them replaced, did you have to replace them with the same brand tyre from ford or will they reimburse the cost of new ones irrespective of brand, as I would prefer not to go the same tyre if its gonna happen again ?

Good results m8, I was happy with my stock auto result too at 205rwkw.. I also had second thoughts about modding it but after my first run on the street losing I decided I wanted more. Now with 280rwkw and running 12's I am more than happy and could never cope driving a stocky.. Have fun with it

  20. Good luck fellas I hope you all grab a 10..
  21. Im interested.. Sydney.
  22. Just for you.
  23. He probably has a life too, and not everything revolves around the forums.. As I understand it, he was getting the injectors to help out people on the forum with a cheap mod, not trying to make money from it.. I reckon stop badgering him as he must be busy, I am sure he will respond sooner or later as to whether he still has the time to get them..
  24. nice. Well done man. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  25. 430cc, but dunno what lb.
