  1. Hi there does anyone here know of any xr6t clubs here in hamiltron? just recently had mine dynoed at eastern automotive and cargoes amazing, they took it up to 310rwkw but pulled it back to 280rwkw as its a BA mk 2 and Mike said they couldnt tell if it had the bigger rods or not.
  2. Thanks Jetsnot, much appreciated. And cheers to you others for your support and encouragement to new members like myself who occassionally might accidently drop in on your wave. Just trying to learn more about what we are sposed to share a common interest in.
  3. Hi I just had mine tuned today at Paul manuel racing at Eastern Automotive, they made 310 Rwkw but decided to pull it back to 280 for longevity, They added 42lb injectors and gapped plugs , plus a remap. Mike mentioned that I should look at a better icooler than the HDi GT2 im currently running and a pump and surge to get 320rwkw. Its now doing 280 at the wheels with a whopping 1375nm of torque, it is so impressive now when I can now finally hit some boost, not sure what boost its at though. Can anyone tell me if its making 280kw at the wheels what kw is it making at the flywheel?, its a 2006 xr6t BA Mk2, 4sp auto. mike said it was making 502HP at the flywheel.
  4. Hi Ive just installed a Hdi GT2 into my 06 BA mk2 xr6T, took me about a day and a half,[got a wife and kids and a fulltime job...so yea a few extra brews just to medicate me through that !] I noticed a huge improvement, maybe btween 15-25kw?, I also have a 3inch full coby system with the cats removed and just a hot dog in its place, plus I installed a k & N pod filter... car goes awsum now and I still have to get it tuned [ I havnt pushed it hard enough to spool up the turbo yet, but even so I can feel that it wants to get up and go]. Anyway if your on a budget the HDi is a good bang for your buck and the quality is very good as well, I just had to purchase an extra reducer, but I would encourage you to really study the instructions first. good luck and send me a message if you want info as I can still remember how I did mine....well sort of, bearing in mind it was a month ago and ive been self medicating while watching bathhurst over the weekend.
  5. Hi there, can anyone tell me what the "Xforce 4" exhaust system for the xr6 turbo" is like? ie, is it anygood? and do I really need to run a cat in my exhaust or could I get a system bent up just using a decent flowmaster , thereby making it even more freeflowing? [ I believe here in nz we have more relaxed emission laws than oz] Im going to get all the bolt ons first before the tune, but was wondering if I can get a better exhaust bent up than whats on the market currently. Also has anyone heard of the HDi brand ofintercoolers? they are an oz crowd selling here in nz ,Are they anygood for my xr6turbo or am I just wasting money? cheers heaps from a newbie, will post pics of my ride as soon as I can upload them,
