Yhep he is going to More-Power in Adleliade, I have seen a ute that they tuned make 400rwkw at one of the Adeliade motor shows. That cant be a bad sign. How much do you think he can get if he does the springs and the injectors? 280rwks????

Auto, 04 BA, 15000kms on it. K&N air cleaner element, full CAPA stianless system plus custom edit tune = how much power?

Hi guys my mate has an 04 BA xr6t with full CAPA exhaust k&n air cleaner element and he just got his hands on a capa edit from his friend who sold his xr8. If he gets a custom tune how much power can he expect it’s an auto with 15000kms on it. Also should he just go striaght ahead and get valve springs and injectors or just leave it with just the edit, k&n and the capa system? Would it make much of a difference? Iam thinking around 260rwkw with just the basic mods.

I, as a webber fan, am concerned he hasnt made the best decision (or has had his hand forced) for his career. if he needs continuity in a team so much, he would of stayed at williams. are you suggesting that not one member of the jaguar team has changed since mark was last there. new boss, new designer, new engineering chef,etc,etc. If I had the choice of red bull and knowing the name of the truck driver - or renault (world champions) but having to learn the truck drivers name...tough one! his last championship winnning car was 7 years ago. he threatened to leave mclaren several times on the basis he wasnt interested in f1 anymore (wanted to design yaghts if im not mistaken). Not saying he's bad... he's very good... but so's mike gascoyne and it took him quite some time to "build" a good race car up. mark is not the number one driver at red bull so he wont have any "support" from DC. personally I would have liked to see mark at renault because we can all agree he would of wiped the floor with fishingkella and his stocks as a driver would of increased. Whether it's through lack of Mechnical Sympathy, poor engineering or a combination of both he just doesn't seem to be able to hold it together for long enough. I think he has the driving skills just not the sympathy. Lumpy ← Mechnical sympathy. What a load of crap. That has nothing to do with it.

Mark Webber should be fine. At this stage we dont know how long his contract is and if things dont work out he will always be able to find another drive. I bet you he wins his first race next year.

God I get mad sometimes. Um ok let’s try and clear some things up. Firstly Mark Webber is really an unsung hero for this country and a lot of Australiana’s don’t really understand how well he represents this county in F1. Yes it is time to leave Williams they have not been able to keep up with the finical demands of F1 this season and have clearly illustrated just how difficult it is in F1 these days with out the support of a highly funded manufacture behind you. Red-Bull is not such a bad option for Mark Webber, what people need to understand is to be successful in F1 you need a level of continuity in a team. Now Mark knows all the staffs at Red-Bull. (Formally Jaguar racing) He would need to learn the name of 300 new staff at Renault if he had a chance to drive there this would be a set back. Adrian Newey is now the new chief chassis and aerodynamicist at Red-Bull racing, for those who don’t know much about Adrian his cars won 6 out of 10 of the constructor titles from 1990 to 2000 with Williams and Mclaren and the 2007 car will be a 100% brand new Adrian built car. At this stage Red-Bull have got a Ferrier engine deal that in my opinion will be extended but a very strong deal with Renault has been in the pipe line for months now in case things fall through. Mark would have good support from David Coulthard more so than if he was partnered with Giancarlo Fisichella as I feel that David is much more experienced and consistent. I really believe that Renault will have a tough year next season although the car is fast they have had a great driver in it the last few seasons, but lets not forget that Kimi won 7 racers in 2005 the same as Alonso, and the Mclaren, (Adrian Newey built) really was the faster car with Kimi’s bad luck loosing him the championship. Flavio has made it perfectly clear that he wants Kimi as a first option at Renault and if I were Mark I would not be happy devaluing my services to a 2nd option driver and having to wait around for some guy to make up his mind about something, and me just hanging around like a piece of meat looking desperate, old and expired. Truth is Red-Bull have money, a solid B-team for testing, and don’t forget they also own Toro Roso which is a big development project for Red-Bull. So before everyone starts say Marks a looser and he is finished maybe they should just look a little out side the square for a minute and try THINKING about things like a real F1 fan would! I think Mark has made the right discission signing with Red-Bull people should put faith in his abilities to make the right discissions after all what the hell do we know about one of the most complex sports on earth.
