I had a set of rear sensors fitted to my ute. They came with a small indicator screen mounted in the cab showing the actual distance away and the audible beeps. Works great and only cost $300 with sensors painted and fitted into the rear bumper.

I believe ASL Automedia are currently working on additional extras for the FG MKII ICC. Haven't heard anything about it for a while though. I would love it if we could get an adaptor/module to play video from iPod through the screen via the integrated USB socket. Is there anyone here that knows more about this?

Saw this post and just wanted to clarify. Ford Aust do not have a contract with Ceva. They use Toll (Prixcar) as their national carrier. Individual dealers use whoever they want to transport cars to customers or between dealers.

I had some clunks in the rear end of my ute only 2 weeks after I bought it new. Turns out the 'U' bolts on the rear springs were a tad loose. All good now.

Regarding your original question about the ECU update..... I just had my FG MKII in for a few issues and was told by the dealer that there was a PCM, TCM and ICC software update available and had it done. This has improved the idle quality, gear shift changes and my bluetooth no longer drops out while using it. Good times! Not sure if the PCM & TCM updates apply to the FG. Can't see why not though. ICC update for touch screen is FG MKII only of course.

Quick rookie question.......when you upgrade the rotors do the calipers and pads need to be done as well? I had a PBR brake upgrade kit on my old BA XR which was straight replacement rotors, calipers, pads and braided brake lines. It made a huge difference but PBR don't do a kit for FG at all. Are there any kits available on the market from another decent brands or do you just buy it in pieces now?

Sweet, thanks for that! I searched for 'side mirrors' and nothing came up. Should have typed in door mirrors instead! The work in this thread was done on a sedan. Is the wiring in place on a ute already?

Hi all, Couldn't find a topic on this after a quick search. Has anyone swapped their side mirrors for the 'G' series mirrors with the indicators in them? If so, what was involved? Thanks.

I had my ute in to check out the knock. The guys tightened up a couple of 'U' bolts in the rear and the noise is now gone. Also had them check out a slight vibration when stopped but in 'Drive'. There is an update for the PCM and TCM. This seems to have fixed the engine idle and the gear shifts are smoother. There is also a software update for the touch screen ICC to fix the freezing and bluetooth issues. All seems good now.

Anyone know if ASL or someone else is bringing out upgrades to suit the FG MKII touch screen set up? I want to be able to run video from my iPod/iPhone through the screen. I've checked ASL's website but nothing is mentioned.

How much would it cost to have someone weld the ballistic cat in? Will it go onto the factory exhaust setup?
