Yeh like xxxrturbo said it got retuned to suit following the removal of the parts so its all good. Just as long as I know the typhoon diff is good for 350rwkw ish ill go for it

I found a typhoon diff and axles for $750...I assume the standard typhoon diff is strong enough for 300+rwkw?

yeh I already contacted them...their price is a bit out of my range (damn apprentice wages)...am lookin at roughly $1400 from them for a xr6t diff cradle

cheers, is there much difference in terms of strength between the fg and ba/bf diffs? I got a 4spd. only thing with the one you showed me is its just the diff without the axles you wouldnt think the axles would be any different though between models though? id save alot of mulah if I just need to change the diff itself and diff bush

sorry yeh I have barely been on here and I originally bought the car from him at the 292rwkw point with the stage 2 kit, but things got messed up through my finance company so it fell through...and he offered me the car for less without the plenum, intercooler, plenum and battery relocation kit but I never got around to changing my sig... there is nothing on the car apart from the diff that isnt typhoon so whatever anyone thinks I got an amazing car for an even better price so im stoked! :D

Yeh it has a high flow cat my bad the rest of the exhaust is standard though...if I want to make it reliable do I need xr6T axles too or just the diff itself?

I dont know the exacts of the process underwent as I bought it like this but in terms of upgrades the engine is original typhoon with bout 50,000kms, brembo brake upgrade, typhoon suspension and bushes, apparently the turbo has been built (no proof of this though), has 45lb injectors I think lol in terms of mods I think that's it..the exhaust is holdin it back along with cooler..I dont no the power figure as I havnt dynod it but im keen to find out

Hey I hav a 2003 f6 typhoon (been converted into a typhoon from a futura including engine, suspension, brakes and interior) and im very keen on goin the e85 route. Been talkin to a couple ppl bout it just want some more info on it, and the costs for the tune? I also have the standard futura diff, would it handle my car takin e85 and hittin the 300+kw mark or doi need a xr6t diff/axle cradle first Cheers guys, igor

pretty sure receipt of sale is just a piece of paper that you write up and state 'your name' is buying the car with the rego number (car details) for xxxx amount on this date blah blah and you both sign and keep a copy?

yeh ill definately have to look into it more as I thought the same thing myself...seems a bit weird and im sure there would be MANY questions if I did end up making a claim lol

thanks mate im very happy with it! the market value of 04 typhoons nowadays is roughly 25-35k yeh? yeh ill need to upgrade the diff first then onto 300+

car sold for 17 with rwc and rego...engine has done 46,000kms and...and have 14.5k worth of receipts

Hey my names Igor im 21 and just bought a 04 f6 typhoon*...the car used to be a futura but has been converted top to bottom including suspension, brakes, interior, engine etc and is even insured as a typhoon Car has done 78,000kms and engine 46,000 and so far has the following done: -Heavy valve springs -Nizpro intake -42lb injectors -Nizpro modified turbo -Nizpro intercooler -Battery relocation -Trans cooler -Strengthened 4 spd auto Tuned at 292rwkw

I know only a day has passed since I posted but I think my plans have changed...I think im gonna strip this car and sell off the decent parts, sell the body/chassis/ etc on ebay as one then im gonna sell my boat and straight out buy a BA xr6 turbo as I want to sell my current car end of next year and buy a 32 gtr...
