I've seen bosco posting his tein coilovers with electric controller on FB for about $1800... fit those and put the rest on some decent go fast goodies and a tune and a bit of work to the engine if you have enough leftover to make sure she holds together.. like jet said how long you gonna keep it for though, might as well get your moneys worth.

Love the cockpit view... straight lines and auto's are fun but that there is the reason I went with manual =) auto's just don't go in and out of corners like that!

not preaching to the choir here but been 7 years since I've lost a point. 10% sensible driving... the other 90% has been luck. If I'm not careful it'll run out soon... too easy to do in these cars

Same here re thrashing it around a track, but good part is you only have to go as hard as you want to. I've gotta spend some $$$ going over the ute first, so only going if I can get that done in time.

There's another track day on September, Saturday 8th, but it's cars and kart's. August 7th is cars only. Does anybody know if that shortens the session times for cars?

This talk of a track day has me interested, I'm keen as a bean. http://www.mallala.c...-days-practice/ $110 car entry + $25 for one day license. spectators $10, kids under 14 free. Need appropriate clothing and suitable AS approved helmet. I'd be looking at going on the 17th August for a track day, but all pending on if I can afford to get a few bits done to the ute first with tax money. I've heard it's a pretty hard day on the car so wanna check the ute over first and make sure it's ship shape, brakes, bushes etc.And I gotta ring and check the bookings, keep tabs on how fast spots are filling lol would anyone else be keen?

love the vid... sounds like jakes dilemma @ 1.05 lol and jake he also has another little canister of stuff in that boot that'd give any e85 mix a run for its money... u thinking of heading the NOS track? on the dry ice subject, was reading up on the nitrous express site about benefits of using NOS for intercooling, they do a full system called the n-tercooler (for NOS or co2) which sounded interesting. anyone heard of or used these?

this machine silvio's mate uses extracts the old oil while replacing it millilitre for millilitre with the new oil, apparently it is very accurate, so shouldnt have been down on oil. What was the condition of the old oil like? Maybe cooler got blocked up with the old crap and created an air lock? along with fluffs suggestion too lol

Kwik... I remember BF6 saying something about having his flushed and they had to use a special machine that drains the old oil and replaces the new stuff and that it had to measure the oil spot on?? maybe issues with cooler when used on that machine or lines got some sort of blockage from the old oil? if u have disconnected the cooler completely, maybe try purging the cooler with the gulf western and try again??? Just a guess at best on my part lol. sure theres many others on here who have more experience with that stuff

pazzo... havent heard of the gt-e but know he had a bloke bring him a saleen which rocked up on a truck while I was there a couple of months back. story I heard is the owner took out the lotto. apparently is only 1 of three in oz and was making 380 at the rears before bruce played with it. no word on what it made when it left but the owner wasn't making any exceptions for $$$, oh... and his wife owns one of the other three lucky fckrs!
