Hi guys I am just wondering if there is usually any interest in F6 parts? I bought my F6 modified and have a collection of barely used stock parts. Is there a market for injectors, airbox, snorkel, valve springs, wheels etc? I have had the gear sitting around since last year and am really not going to need any of it so is it worth putting it up for sale? Thanks!

This is why I believe being patient and looking at private classifieds is worthwhile. I picked up my 2012 F6 with 14,000kms for $45,000. Came with $20k+ of extras so there was no way I was going to pay $50k+ for an F6 from a dealership. 95% of the F6's at dealerships had 20k kms or more. And as per a thread a couple weeks ago, they still sell F6's that aren't running right! I can see why buying new or from dealer can be worthwhile (warranty and biggest depreciation writeoff) but neither of those things I was worried about with a 2012 model. As always it's up to you and what fits your situation/needs, just do your research and you may find what you want from private sellers at a much better price!

Did it on my F6. Worked a treat. Not aftermarket quality but a good improvement over how it was. What a big stuffup from Ford to let it leave the factory like it has and not correct it in the Mk2 series.

Can now say I am a VERY happy owner of a FG2 F6! I am very lucky to have found the perfect car pretty close by! It ticked all my boxes. FG, White Sedan, low kms and modified which is a huge bonus! I got it for a very good price too!! :dance It's a huge step up from my BF XR6T! When I drive it now, it feels like a slow tank! Aftermarket suspension and upgraded brakes really make a big difference! 370kw at the wheels also makes it a blast to drive! The intake and turbo spool sound is amazing!! The only problem is I cannot get it in my driveway! :yelrotflm It's going in on Tuesday for coilover adjustment to rise it up a bit. I also have the stock rims/tyres, suspension and other bits and pieces up for sale if anyone is interested just PM me. Will soon have the stock exhaust for sale as well. Just gotta get it dropped to me via a friend on a truck! Not really a point to this thread, just to say how excited I am and to show it off!

Sorry I can't help. But I did spot that F6 on carsales while looking for FG F6's. Low km's too.

The asking price ($45k). Very good value I thought. 14k kms, power to 368rwkw, 6/4 brembos, suspension coil overs / sway bars and I get all the stock stuff (rims, exhaust, engine parts)

Thanks for the reply mate! Valve springs are upgraded when the tune and mods were done by Spiro at Autotech. Its does a safe and easy 368rwkw on 98. I am very lucky to have found this vehicle in QLD. Hi guys. I am in the market for a FG F6 and have finally found one in my state that fits my specs (low kms, colour,) and I am just wondering what particulars I should look out for when I go to look at it this weekend. It’s a 2012 FG MK2. I am hoping there isn’t anything wrong with it as it’s only 14,000kms but I thought it can’t hurt to ask and have some idea before I turn up. I have already asked questions and have seen the receipts of engine work done by Autotech. What things should I pay close attention to before sealing the deal? Thanks!
