Yeah most of these kids are on the mines, tbh most of my class are mature age apprentices who make a decent amount for an apprentice (800+ a week). This kid though either sold a lot of drugs, or is just really good at saving. If it weren't for a mate of his in the class he'd have failed since he copies everything and just doesn't understand things. Has had a few resits and sit down with lecturers to try explain how things work but he's just not with it. Frustrates me that he has such a nice car haha

Young kid in my TAFE class just bought an 08 G6ET yesterday, I asked him who he insured with and he said he couldn't get comprehensive because it was too expensive (around $4000) so just got 3rd party. I don't understand why you buy a car you can't insure? Wasn't any telling him otherwise either, he's just one of those impulsive mislead teens. On the other hand, the car is sweet, has been a LONG time since I've been in a T so was good to feel that boost again. Getting me excited for when I get one, slab was poured this morning so another 6 or so months to go and I should be ready to buy!!

I'd have said lack of paint on the car. I'm still building the house, construction has just started so once that's all complete I'll be able to purchase one after that!

Btw, I'm looking or will be looking within the next 8-12 months for an F6 typhoon. Was going to get an XR6T but I have always wanted a BF phoon, so not going to settle for anything this time unless it's that. a G6ET might have me convinced, but it's still no FPV. Keep eyes and ears out for me if you know of anything that will be on the market in the near future

When my cars were stolen a few years ago and it was posted on there, I had a guy PM me that day and give me all the information on the guys who stole my cars. Gave me his address, current cases against the guys name and his family and who lived at his house. Those guys are the anonymous of Perth.

I have mates who support almost every team, and every team has its fwit supporters. I'm not one of them..

Yeah I think I'll just need to hold out for a while longer :( I'm one where when it comes to cars I get an idea and jump at anything that appears. Really bad attribute of mine but I said after my last f-up that I'd spend 1000% more time on the next purchase, so seems that's what I'll do. I don't mind getting the 4spd, but the ZF is such a sweet drive I'd much prefer that. No more car loans, I'm solid on that one now. Been paying car loans for the last 10 years and it keeps biting me in the ass when it comes to a house loan. Paid my Jetta off so that's it for car loans. Plus I don't like FGs Much prefer a BF. A well done FG is nice but costs too much for me. Yeah good point. Initially my reasoning for selling the Jetta was to buy a cheaper car and have more funds for doing stuff at pre-start. Then I got the idea of buying an XR6T again so those extra funds would be very minimal if anything. I should just wait another 6 months and see what's going then. I hate it how F6's are still 18k+, because that's the car I want to own but well out of reach at least this and probably next year.

Haha the tune is always tempting. I have owned 2 of these and the first one I had tuned, the second one I restrained myself from doing so. Both have been BFs, so I would like to keep to a BF but as budget permits it may not be possible. There's only a handful of BFs in Perth, and they are either all stupidly high kms with just all the standard inclusions for 12+ grand or decent with what I want for over my limit (16+ grand) I'm in no rush so I'll wait until something pops up. I've been told this is the last car for at least 5 years - I have a tendency to change cars every 1.5-2 years or so lol

Not chasing big power, but will hold onto the car for 4-5 years. More than likely won't do anything for a few years IF I do anything at all. House comes first, I just want to be driving a T again. Only issue with that one I linked before is that as Ralph said it has a replaced front bumper (crashed/damaged somehow), or it's not really a BF, although it did have all the supporting features to say it was a BF. The guy hasn't got back to me on it yet either, and its been up for quite a while so I'd say its gone.

From first looks (besides the stripes) this seems like a decent seller and car. Opinions? Although it does come unpainted like Steve's but that could be dealt with later - or so that's what Steve keeps saying..

I'll see what I can get for my car. Have a spare to use (dad's missus who doesn't drive has a 323 out the front) so can sell and drive that around for a bit. I may have drove into a mailbox on new years eve and damaged the bumper, so that's really pissed me off. Have called all around Perth and no-one seems to have one. US have plenty, but costs almost the same amount or more to ship it here. Might try my luck at a panel beaters and see what they say it will cost to fix.
