Hi all, I have seen a few people get some decent numbers out of a ba/bf mk1....whats the limit of power/psi you can get from just a standard bottom end??...as I know the rods are not the strongest point of these early girls. I am guessing the tune will have to be pretty bang on

Hi all, I am wanting to get the wastegate flapper ported and a new 14psi actuator installed on my Ba mk2 turbo..... does anyone know a place on the centeral coast NSW (gosford) that could do this?? If not im guessing I will have to go into sydney to get it done......Whats a good place in sydney to get this done?? What sort of $$ can I expect to pay??

I have a 300rwkw 6 speed manual turbo...had a custom tune...usually get 15-16l/100km around town and 8-8.5l/100km on the highway...and that's with 60lb injectors!!

Yeh I had my car done 2 months ago...got told its got nothing to do with warranty as well....ford outsorced the job to a local shop (which I got to choose ) also ford only paid for the metal to be done not the plastics...hence I had to pay for the front bar to be done.....but ford did pay for a loan car for 2 weeks...car ended up looking way better than factory !!!

I made 270rwkw at 10psi with a monza cooler....they are ok...and they hang under the bumper which is annoying if your car is lowered...I replaced it with a hdi cooler when I got a re tube for the over 300rwkw club.

mal wood short shifter any good?? compared to a rip shifter??

I didnt realize that airbags were illegal in VIC.....anyone know the law for nsw?? it's abit of a bugger that I live on the nsw/vic border...I do admit the dumped 20'' is a good look, but I cant really get ssssssl rear springs as there are some pretty bad gutters around....do you have to get the bags custom fitted?/ or is there a kit somewhere??

thinking of trying to put airbags in the rear of my BA....Has anyone seen/done this before?? Has anyone know of an off the shelf kit?? Pro's/Con's of airbags?? Thanks

I have a ba 2 xr6 turbo, im 21 and was quite supprised when NRMA charged me $840 per year for full compo insurance!!! Especially when AAMI wouldnt even take one look at giving me insurance!! TWO THUMBS UP FOR NRMA!!!

Hey guys, I have a ba series 2 xr6T with a 6 speed manual. It is currently running 270rwkw with the standard clutch. Its been slipping big time in the last few weeks, so I think its time for an upgrade. Just wondering what ppl are running and how they drive.??? It is my daily so I dont really want anything too heavy like a button clutch. I have heard that exceedy heavy duty are rated up to 380fwkw but im abit unsure if this is true. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, James
