No ain't got the car back jet apperantly there is still a little to do on the injectors down low... So no its still got the id2000s in it Bruce has done well on them. And all the car is showing is 440rwkws before it lights the tyres up.... I guess my setup with the high stall and 3speed isn't very dyno flattering so guess ill have to try the numbers at the drags to hopefully be happy. Although when your told there is absolutely nothing we can do to keep your car from wanting to jump off the dyno its a pretty good feeling

Yeah jet as far as I know they can't keep it strapped down smokes the tyres on the dyno at 19psi. Bruce said with it strapped all the way and boot full of people it just wants to jump off the dyno... The figure therefore might not be that impressive but he says he is certain it will run 9s as long as I can hold onto it lol... I'm a bit excited that's for sure

Lol your a beauty Jet and anty isn't the word for it. And yes they are mostly the blue/red Speed flow fittings, cant say a bad word about them have like 3k worth of those fittings on the xw since 2005 and never had an issue once. Its had all types of weird and wonderful fuels thru it including methanol and not so much as even a drop. The fuel lines I got through Pirtek but it was out of the 2011 Proflow mag. Look it up its in PDF format go to the hose section and it says one of them is E85 comp.... Its not a proflow brand though from memry its Ryco or something.

I used some E85 compatible rubber hose for the setup with braided stuff underneath and under the hood. On my last setup the fumes were definately a bit of an issue had to drive with the windows down lol.... However they reckon Ethanol smells pretty nice so that hopefully wont be such a problem. Remember ive driven the car f*ck all so at this point Id be happy driving it with an open tin of PULP tied around my neck.

Hey Jet nothing new... As far as I know Bruce was away all last week so I thought I might give him till tomorrow or wed till I start hassling him. Do you know if he tunes carbied motors as well we fired up the old falcon yesterday to start getting ready for november 26th and wouldn't mind giving it a run on the dyno first to make sure everything is still all sweet??

Hahaha I've laughed at so many posts all you guys have written cos its exactly the same way me and my mates talk to each other... Most people think we are absolutely cooked but its nice to no there are so many more of u out there ... Oh and aren't sheep better than goats???

Lol I have learnt the hard way jet... its better to try do things right the first time saves in the long run. And I drove my dads supercharged blood orange GTP around for ages before I wrote it off in 2006 :(... We also have a green xw falcon that went 10.1 @ 132mph before AIR shut down and we are doing a 69 capri with a supercharged 302 c4 9inch all engineered. It's a sickness that stems from my father he has loads of cars all fords of course though lol!!

To buy incomplete around 1600 bucks but ill be totally honest with you they went to three driveshaft specialists all said they needed machining and the cages had to be stretched and that my standard cv housings had to be used cos u can't buy them as a spare part but mine were worn so it would have been dodgy... It was a crap and costly experience and one I wouldn't do over... If u do get driveshafts id get them complete and they are around $5k. Hence why I've been looking into the 4link setup it would have been cheaper at $10k to $13k pretty much complete with brakes axles suspension tubs tailshaft and all...

I've followed and been envious of your car for ages dude and I dont think urs is a toy at all. 500rwkws is my first aim but I'd be lying if I said I'm not expecting more especially for the amount of time and money spent

Cheers ill have a look into those brakes a lil more I'm still not sure which way to go though cos I have been quoted on a 4 link setup , sheet metal 9inch , tubs , willwood brakes , coil overs etc etc.... I've already wasted alot of money on the back as it is ( harrop trutrac, albins drive shafts and different gears ) I don't wanna spend more money if I'm gonna change it all again.

Believe it or not I said to Bruce if mine are no good just put the same as what's in the blue f6 lol....

Definately wanna run it down the drags Jet we have a few other cars to run aswell and a full chassis xy falcon in the works too. And yeah your right the injectors may be too big but Bruce has the right to put any size injectors he wants as Long as I get to drive the thing.

Cheers Bosco and brakes are on the cards next.... But parachutes pull cars up pretty well too
