  5. It sounds to me like you may have inadvertantly enabled the screen saver mode. Does the lcd switch off after say 30 seconds but come back on whenever you touch a control? then switch back off after a few seconds? If you press and hold your vol knob for 5 seconds you will hear a beep, and you will find that your screen will now stay on.
  6. There is a high pass filter built into the premium sound units that filter the high frequencies to the cabin speakers. This can be disabled when the original sub amp is unplugged. Full frequencies will then be sent to the cabin speakers. You can pick up the low level sub frequencies being fed to the amp and do away with the need for high to low convertors as well.
  7. It sound like the dealer did not do the inhale/exhale procedure correctly with the IDS scan tool. If you changed the ICC audio module over they should have done an inhale of all the settings in the original radio module and exhaled those settings to the new audio module. It is somthing that they will be able to redo for you using the IDS scan tool. They just have to tell the audio module that there is a iPod module attached to it, this is within the 'personality' settings in the audio module. Take it back to the ford dealer and they should be able to sort that out for you in a couple of minutes.
  8. At some stage the ICC must of been replaced with one that had been programmed for a vehicle with reverse sensors. It is a setting that can be changed by your ford dealer, if not ASL.
  9. In the FG we usually mount them under the passenger seat. The tissue box area in the fg is to small to mount a single din unit neatly, I have done it but you need to cut quite alot of the rear of the centre console out to get it back far enough to sit flush. Also in the FPV's that is where the start button is. Under the passenger seat is probably the best option.
