Would appreciate any help at all .... my premium icc unit will also randomly switch off but it still retains functions ... can anyone tell the the specs on lcd screen and where to get one ...Or a potential fix??

It sounds to me like you may have inadvertantly enabled the screen saver mode. Does the lcd switch off after say 30 seconds but come back on whenever you touch a control? then switch back off after a few seconds?

If you press and hold your vol knob for 5 seconds you will hear a beep, and you will find that your screen will now stay on.

Thanks for your comment but this is not the screen saver mode .. the screen will fail for a period of time ...
