  1. Just did a search of images of the Type C and it appears they do not make them with anymore rim showing...Bummer!
  2. Nice wheel Nelsonian, Do they all have the spokes right out the edge like that or do the wider ones have some rim showing? I could be tempted to use those in 19x10.5 on the rear of my yet to arrive, GS ute.
  3. Sorry I missed out 10mm in the formula, it should go more like this.. XR50 rim is 8"(203.2mm) So, 203.2mm / 2 =101.6mm + 35(I assume +35 is the stock offset?) = 136.6mm back space and, therefore 66mm front space. Then you add your 33mm spacer for 99mm front space. A 9.5" rim is 241.3mm. 241.3 / 2 = 120.65mm + 35 = 155.65mm back space. Therefore 85.65mm front space. So you'll have 13.35mm more clearance which is likely plenty. This is pretty handy and helps to understand how it works... http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator
  4. I'm saying you'll have 3.35mm more clearance, that doesn't necessarily mean they'll fit without rubbing.
  5. You can work it out. I think it goes like this.... 241.3 / 2 = 120.65mm + 35 = 145.65mm back space. Therefore 95.65mm front space. So you'll have 3.35mm more clearance.
  6. These would look good but once again only silly little sizes available.... 9" is the widest they get!?
  7. I know what you mean. A mate of mine has a GS ute with custom 19x10 wheels that would only fit on his BF GT if the car wasn't lowered!?(don't see much point in that!?) but on the GS they're swimming around in there. I don't want to muck around with gaurd rolling etc but I'm happy to build a 9" rear end with shorter axles to allow a ridiculously wide rim to fit:)
  8. That's reasonable pricing mummba, See they're doing these now in 19's but with no rim!? can't bloody win!...http://www.workwheelsusa.com/news-post.php?article=96 btw the guy's at tech9 here in Perth have done a custom 12" wide set of wheels(don't know what brand)for the rear of a ute with no body or diff mods.
  9. Saw a white set of these on the weekend that were on WRX and they had a really deep rim(at least 5") but alas they're only available in 18":( Of course being Work wheels means they're gunna cost... http://www.workwheelsusa.com/media/wheels/27/79/colors/128.jpg
  10. Yep Evo, What they put on carsales is often complete crap.
  11. Did I read that right evo? Factory 9" wide wheels? Really?!
  12. G'day folks, Been a member for awhile and finally posted. This is a great thread on wheels. Just like to say thanks to everyone for posting details on what wheels fit! Just traded my BA2 Pursuit on a new GS ute that I still have to wait to be built(March)...the only one coming to WA. I'm partial to the hockmesh style of wheel(like the TSW Nurburgring) but really like to see a bit of rim before the centre appears. I will be using a 19" wheel and I want to go as wide as possible on the back. I would like to stick to an 18 but, the seemly ever increasing wheel arch size of newer cars means they're likely going to look too small. I tried Koya Driftek in 18x8.5/18x9.5 on my BA and then a couple of Rota P45's in 18x9.5 for the rear after a tyre shop butchered the Koyas fitting tyres. The Koya quality was definitely better but their lack of rim depth didn't impress. Here's the old ute with the Koyas...
