When he took off from the workshop it sounded great, he gave it a boot full in 1st and 2nd (I was standing in the workshop). When you are just driving along its as quiet as the standard system. Its only when you give it some stick that it makes a bit of noise. On the performance side of things, its doesn't feel any slower or any quicker, but it does have a full tank of petrol. But yeh, im happy with it.

I dont see why anyone would flame you. You are right. Every T I've been has had all the things wrong with it that mine has. And it is sad and would be costing Ford a heap of money, and customers.

What, you've only had 2 problems?? Driveline shunt and the idle up and down?? You've been lucky. I've had more than that and im still happy with the car. My Dunlops will be replaced in the morning my Ford free of charge because they are split.

I've booked mine in for Friday to get the muffler removed. Woohoo!

I just used A4 paper and masking tape.

The initial feel is good. I find im on the brakes like I was before and having get off them so I dont stop so soon. Also they are good when cold. I only live 4mins from work and they feel good all the way there. Also I havent had them squeal. They've been on for less than a week too.

I put some DBA 4000Series rotors and some Bendix Heavy Duty's, with the titanium stripe through the pad, on the front. Let me tell ya, the thing pulls up now!!!! I love it!!

I painted Mattri's callipers today and put his DBA rotors on. Came up quite good, so 'I'll do mine next weekend I think.

Yep, its "The Diff Clunk". Mines done it since new and the one I test drove did it too. The auto aren't as bad, thanks to the converter.

My XR6T goes in for the 15000Km service on Wednesday. They told me it will cost about $200. Also my tyres will be repleced for nothing because they have a big split throught them.

If it does it again I'd tell the dealer.

Yeh its the clutch. He said the revs were going up and the car wasn't accelerating and there was a bad smell (clutch). Torque tags just limit torque through limiting power output (not allowing to rev fast, but car still being able to accelerating)

Ford reflash the computer to stop the over boost problem. Some cars have had a spike of up to 9 or 10 PSI, so Ford have a reflash to stop it from doing that. The over boosting doesn’t last long, its just a spike, but will produce more power until the boost is brought back to normal. When the boost doesn't spike, the PSI is correct. They haven't decreased the boost, they just stop it from spiking. So they aren't decreasing the boost that you would be using 99% of the time when driving, they are just stopping the over boost that you could have from time to time. I've had mine reflashed and it feels better than ever. Very very smooth now.

I took my car to Ford today and they said when I take my car in for the 15,000Km service next Wednesday, they'll get the Dunlop rep to come out and replace all 4 of them for nothing. So yeh, that's good.

I think if they reflash when you have an edit, it will remove your edit and put the standard tune back in.

I had mine reflashed at Ford last week and the things goes harder now than before!! 1st gear is fun and it just want to keep going and is so smooth. Im very happy with the reflash.

Great. I know atleast one of mine is like that :( I only use my Dunlops for track days (I've only done one day on them) them I put my 18's back on after :( They are just over 1 year old now. Is there anything I can do??

Yeh, that blue XR6T is always parked at the shops at West Hoxton. Makes my 18" look small :(

Where is the cracking?? Sidewall??
