no I havent changed them yet, ford dealer charges to much for such a simple job.. only go there to keep my roadside assist. I thought that maybe that was how Ford was trying to fix the problem with the front rotrs, more rear brake bias.??

my 2011 fg xr6 turbo just had its 30000km service and the rear pads are 90% worn the fronts are only 50% seems a bit excessive to me, when I quiered this they said that the handbrake is connected to the brakes and as it is continually adjusting the pads drag a bit???? I thought they has a seperate handbrake system as per the BA's?? Im going to be really annoyed if I only get 30000kms out of a set of rear brake pads.. any ideas??

no drilling required, they attach to the slots in teh side of the tub

Ive got remote locking on both of my utes, works well and very convient. beats stuffign around with those stupid little keys.

had the same problem with my old BA ute, had to pour a heap of lub onto the leafs prob gone

had a ba ute non turbo, put a light weight tray on the back and it was almost undrivable, good luck in the rain!!! hope you only kill yourself........

my fg turbo nearly brand new ony 4000km has 19 inch rims but has lots of road noise, has any one else find this? cant tell if its the tyres or the diff/bearings.. ford dealer says its the tyres beaurepairs says it may be bearings?? and dont even mention the price of the tyres!!!!

is there a simple way I can play dvds or install a reverse cam in my fg with colour screen?

has anyone tried to fit one of these lids themselves? how hard is it?

Has anyone converted their FG turbo to run on LPG? how did it go?

Has anyone else had problems with their front tyres wearing out on the inside edges? at $250 odd a tyre its starting to get expensive and annoying. And yes Ive had a wheel alignment done, does anyone know if there is a camber adjustment kit available?

so how hard is it to take the tub off? can it be done by hand or does it need a fork lift?

turns out it was the tail shaft bearing that was gone, wasnt very happy as the ute has only done 118000 kms, but then good news ford are going to fix it for me!! at NO CHARGE!!!!!!!!!!! looks like maybe they are starting to get there act together

turns out it was the tail shaft center bearing, utes only done 118000 odd kms, so I wasnt happy, but then... good news.. ford will fix it under warrenty... so FULL MARKS to them

FG xr6t so far done two diffs.

Looks like my diff has gone AGAIN, this is the 2nd one & this one only lasted 46000 kms. So rather than having a gen ford diff installed has anyone put in a differant diff?

its a 2009 Fg, brought it low milage 2nd in 2010,, no towbar no hard lid, noise has only just started, only happens around 107 to 114 km/hr, and only when I accellerate, doesnt matter what gear its in either, if I back off the sound goes away? am going in for a wheel alignment tomorrow to rule that out.. Its driving me mad?? diff maybe?? but that was only replaced 6 months or so ago..
