gday mate, I bought my 05 ba mk II NA in manual, with leather interior, premium sound and 20 percent tint. for 20 000 from a dealer. it had 72000 on the clock when I bought it. and let me tell you, the warranty is not worth the paper its printed on. Now I bought mine because it was the cheapest 05 I could find with the extras, I would have liked a sunroof but oh well. Youve probably bought it by now but I say go for it. I Havn't regretted anything about paying that much for a car that I love. Also, hearing about the diff problem. mine makes a clunk noise every now and then going from 1st to 2nd, and also lately has made a tiny clunk when taking off after resting for a while. But again its only every now and then. Can anyone diagnose the problem?

alright my rant, I bought my BA XR6 NA in april from thompson ford parramatta. Now I only bought from a dealer becuase I got a manual with leather interior and premui9m sound. I coul not find aother one anywhere. Any way, I got the 3 year warranty for free, so that didn't bother me too much. But they are telligme that I have to get is serviced by their own service centre every six months or ten thousand k's. The guy on the phone said to me that it would cost about 1400 to replace my catalytic converter, and that warranty only covers 1000 max on anything at one time. There is also all these claus's that can void the warranty like if there is any impact damage to the cat its not covered, whether I did it or bought it like that. So I very politely told them to shove the warranty up their ass and I will be doing all my services myself. Its not that hard. My reccomendations are, buy a gregory's book on your car. They can be bought from supercheap auto for 40 dollars. Its the only way that your going to learn how to do it.

Im not sure of the events that occured, but for one thing, you said that the cops told you there was very high speed involved and you also stated that you reached for the phone in the glove box. Im sorry to say that I agree with some of the other posts on this topic. You made a mistake, glad to see your still alive but I hope to god you have learnt a lesson from all of this. Im a P-Plater and I have been pulled over numerous times before. lost my licence once, went to court for the second time a got off having it cost me 2500, and luckly got pulled over by my uncles friend who does highway patrol. And all of this and ive finally learnt my lesson. One thing that I beleive in is there is no reason to own a car that you cannot afford to insure, if not for your own sake but for someone else sake just incase you do collide with someone else. that's the most stupidest thing ive seen and ive been involved in accidents where the other person didn't have insurance and im sure that doesn't only piss me off, it would piss everyone off. Again good to see your ok, but for gods sake, keep your eyes on the road and slow down. Thanks.

hey mate I dont know if I can be any help but I have a 05 BA II xr6 na no mods. the cars insured in my grandmothers name with me as a second driver. I am 20. no claims or licence suspensions in the last 3 years. my premium is $1217 yearly for full comp with AAMI. From what ive heard, some company's are raising the age restriction from 25 to 30.

Hey guys, I have been told by my LPG mechanic that my cat is on its way out. Now I bought my car in April and I got the extended 3 year warranty for free. So if I go to ford to replace the cat, they wont cover it under warranty if there is any impact damage (whether if I did it or not) and they charge average 1400 dollars to replace it with a genuine Ford part. The warranty only covers a maximum of 1000 dollars and I feel as though I would get ripped off to get them to replace it. The cat will last a while longer at the moment, it isn't rattling yet. I want to eventually upgrade my whole system from the extractors back, what system do you have and what do you recommend in terms of aftermarket systems. I drive a 2005 BA MKII N/A XR6 Manual. I bought the cable off ebay, and I have no whine, it sounds good but not as loud as a cd or something similar. but its enough for me.

what I found with my iphone is that if I constantly have my iphone bluetooth on, and the device im trying to pair with, I turn on when I want it and it works. but with my device, everytime I turn it on it is automatically in pairing mode. I dont know how the fpv unit works, but when it turns on, if it is automatically in pairing mode, it should connect automatically . hope this helps

hey guys, im looking at getting a power mod chip of ebay, you know the ones that just plug and play. What I was wondering, has anyone had any experiences with these and what do you think, I have been told by a work collegue that in his mates evo 2, it made a hell of a lot of difference. I thought I would ask before I comited to buying, it does only cost about 20 dollars though.

I have to say I love this car to death, and I am not looking at modifying it at any stage soon. this car cost me 20 k from a ford dealer in parramatta and the colour is rapid yellow.
