hey guys just picked up a cheap f6 cooler, should I get it pressure tested????? make sure there is no leaks???? and also I couldnt find any helpfull links on actually painting the cooler, like a how to, prep work etc!!!!! any help would be great cheers

yeah I notice mine shifting harder into 1st and 2nd when cold as well. but it shouldnt be banging into 6th gear, and now even bangs shifting down into 1st, when pulling up at the lights

hey has anyone heard of all 6 speed autos bangin into 6th gear!!! this is wat I have been told now

no not sorted yet, the dealer has tried to handball it, sayin needs to go back to the selling dealer!!!! in process of contacting ford aus !!!!!!

oh I cant decide wat to do, I need new rubber! and also have a leaking LH front shock I dont really have alot of money atm so ill be using my savings! (for the house) should I 1: get new rubber for the standard xr 17's, and lower it (4 springs and shocks) 2: get new rubber for the standard xr 17's and just fix the front shocks! 3: get new 19's , and leave at standard high for now trying to find pics of xr's wth 19's and standard hight

hey I have got some new splits for the front and new rears. I was gonna sound deaden the rear shelf, was told this will help the factory sub a bit, just wanted to know, if I wanna deaden the front doors do I have to do the whole door or can I just get away wth the deadening the area around the speaker on the door??? and wat product do ppl use????

ford rang me back, they said they noticed my rear tires have low tread, so the banging into 6th MIGHT be cause by the difference in tread from front to back as the box has 2 sensors on the LHF and the RHR wheels which COULD cause the auto to bang into 6th, so before they do any more I am advised to get 4 brand new tires!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also had this clink under load, only in stop start traffic, get them to check the engine mounts!!!!! mine was fixed by ford, apparently loose bolt in the middle of the engine mount, they couldnt see it until they pulled the mount out so yeah try that

yeah it does do it when you manually put it into 6th as well. I guess its kinda a good thing someone else is having the same problem, what dealer are u taking it too axeman85???? mines been at knox and the diff bush has been replaced under 10000k ago

hey guys im starting to get annoyed, I my car clunks into 6th gear everytime, was at ford on wednesday, wth the ZF guys lookin at it they reckon the auto is fine, possibly the diff they reckon, but I find this hard to believe as it only does it into 6th gear not any other gears, does it everytime too, has anyone got any ideas, pls help
