this may seem like a pointless question but is there alot of difference in performance output when it comes to a F6 cooler and BA factory one. I have a BA and want to know if its worth putting a F6 cooler in.

right..im no expert on the xr6t but I want to know if I bought a second hand F6 exhaust (which would be a hell of alot cheaper than a new exhaust system) and used it to replace the exhaust system on my 03 BA would it benefit me in anyway???? Surely it must open it up more and also be louder but there could be hidden problems that someone out there may know of...any expert advice???

lovin those wheels mattyb and like you ive recently bought a 03 xr6t BA but after reading this thread I feel quite bummed out...for one Im in lil old NZ and those parts would be alot more expensive here plus secondly I have a BA which from what ive seen in this thread doesnt seem to be all that great. Ive heard lots of rumours about the computers in BA's being real I want to use every bit of power the engine has... so does this mean I should start with getting my car tuned or add small cheapish parts in like air intake and so on???

hey guys as you can probably guess im new here...use to drive a honda and loved vtec until I sold it and bought a standard 2003 XR6T falcon BA and without swearing love it.....however what is the best first thing to do to it to make it go faster..like ive been told the turbo in them is a good size however isnt running much boost. Anyone know where a good place to start would be with this standard engine????
