Good stuff thanks mate

Im upgrading my clutch to an option 3 and going to give my old clutch to a mate that's a bit short on cash to help him out. His is the ba mk 2 with t56 and mine is a bf mk 1 with the t56. I am assuming there will be no problems with putting my old clutch in his just want to make sure as I dont want him to get stuck. Cheers

If in doubt mate dont do it as the odds are if youre happy with it now you never will be. And also will be very hard to sell when the time comes. my 2 cents. Goodluck with whatever you decide.

Process West Stage 2 Bf Is Cutting Required
roadster replied to roadster's topic in Forced Induction Workshop
Great news thanks for the feedback guys -
I posted this topic earlier in the process west area and it got taken off. I am GUESSING that maybee I posted it in the wrong area. I want to install an intercooler where no cutting or at least minimal cutting is required. Not that I cant cut metal its mainly for legality reasons so does the Process west stage 2 cooler require any cutting. Thanks

Whats A Fair Price To Install Option 3 Clutch
roadster replied to roadster's topic in Driveline Workshop
was that from a mate or a garage as I would be happy with that -
Whats a fair price to install Option 3 Clutch, not including the purchase of the clutch. CBStuffed with jack stands Thanks

Seems the consensus is let someone else try it first and if all good get one. Now just where can we find someone to buy one !!!! hehehe

Good info freeze. I take it that you sit it in youre car somewhere and can monitor a heap of parameters in real time. Anyone know how to change between tunes.

Hey oldschool, I live in werribee and work in geelong, I take my car to rex gorrell ford in geelong and I personaly think there customer service is second to none. took my car in cause the gear shift boot had the tiniest of cracks in the leather (manual) so they replaced it even replaced the aluminium shifter nob as well as they said there was slight discoloration in the other old one, fixed other stuff I was not even aware of. and to top it off a 30k service at ultra tune was $380 and rex gorrell did it for $320 work that one out !!!. Good luck

4" Dump, Cat, Transition Section On Ebay Any One Used One
roadster replied to roadster's topic in Exhaust Workshop
that's why I asked on here ! there are not any feedbacks for that exhaust from any of his buyers. But thanks for the replyies. I thought it had a bit of an SMb look about it myself. -
Yeah im not a huge fan of the billion KW thing either, Good service and quality reliable tune, Its getting so much harder these days just not to get screwed around. Want a good tune, want it done right the first time and not have to get the tune touched till the next set of mods. Just want things right!!! as for every last KW on a bit of paper that's pretty useless cause it wont make the paper go any faster hehe. Good drivability. Sounds like Mick might be the go ....

Mick from pit lane certainly has some good allies around this forum for sure. Will have a look into Dyno-Mite as well. Wish I still lived in cranbourne that would make life easier.

Forums like these are fantastic for info. Sure helps to take the some of the guessing out of things. Pit lanes about 1.5 - 2 hours away but looks like it may well be worth it. Thanks heaps for the replies

I have been looking for a tune around the werribee area and have given up on the idea of finding one im happy with. Example Quote "to get these turbos going you need a tune and a cat back exhaust. and that will be $1600 thanks. Would not believe me that the Cat was the biggest restriction in the exhaust and past the cat was fine pretty much told me I had no idea anyway not going back there. Anyway I am planning on a Flash box Custom tune 60lb injectors ( brand that the tuner I select is happy with) Rapid Cooler V1.0 and piping the one using the standard airbox and crossover Typhoon lower snokle K&N High flow cat (still looking into this) So I know there is nobody local so am willing to travel thurther out as far as cranbourne. Can people put there recommendations through with a score out of ten this will sure reduce the amount of travelling I need to do to find someone. Any help or comments would be great
