  2. I email the pic thru to pwr they said it was one of there erly designs, so im pritty sure that its a pwr, im pritty sure that's what I read senna that it droped alot of pressure and that's why they changed the design. hmm... anyone used one like this?
  3. just brought a pwr cooler of a forum member but after doing a bit of reaserch of old topics I here nothing but bad about the type ive now got I assume its a twin pass please let me know any info on this cooler and if its worth keeping my aim is 300kw

    Im In Finally

I would have thort 18psi would have been a bit to much for a non typhoon bottom end
  6. ill come
  7. why are ppl fitting a small filter to the bov? most turbosmart, gfb etc valves dont have filters
  8. because all that gear is from japan/china and made with slave labour, a mate brought a cheap ss manifold for his sr the welds were average very rough on the inside as ETM said hes are all custom made
  9. buy the one on ebay it will save you heaps in the long run
  10. haha nice idea, how did you tighten them though?
  11. 340 might be a bit hit and miss on a ba bottom end, get a hiflow cat, typhoon snorkel+filter and actuator should be able to get 315ish safeley
  12. there was a typhoon forsale down the road from me about a year ago a family friend new the seller and I found out it was a repaired writeoff the head was damaged in the crash he used an ordinary ba head not sure if it was the bare head or valves etc aswell
  13. you wont loose any power mate as I think a single 2.5 would be better suited to your car twin 2.25 equals to aprox a 3.18 inch single system which is a hell of alot of flow for a na 6 you need some back pressure, I have fitted a redback 2.5 inch with 2 hi flow mufflers to a ed it sounded nice not loud just deep, I have hurd a n/a ba xr6 on youtube with a xr6t exhaust I quit liked the sound but everyone is differant, my mate has pacey headers-hiflow cat-2.5 with 1 muffler and a hot dog on his ba fairmont it sounds tuff but its pritty loud I recon you would be best off with a twin muffler 2.5 inch like this http://www.bestmufflers.com/bshop/product_...c7c44cfc1eb7298
  14. people with turbos do this for 1 reason- noise, as I already said its going to make it alot louder than it already is, a resonator or hot dog is straight thru with only about an inch of insulation a muffler is going to be much more quiter than 2 ressys eapecially if its a stock muffler those xr6t middle mufflers are friggin huge and do a good job at quietening the xr6t hence why ppl take them out to increase noise I think its to loud bcos the area size is just to big for a n/a after all it is 2x 2.25 inch pipes most exhaust shops would only recomend a single 2.5 inch exhaust for a relatively standard 6cyl after all these systems are pritty dam quit on a turbo even with a hi flow cat
  15. well done mate, did not take you long at all did it lol
  16. hes got a standard turbo exhaust theres no room for ressys unless he removes a muffler but then its going to be louder
  17. mate if you still have both factory turbo mufflers on it theres not much you can do as there not even straight thru meaning you cant really get a quiter muffler only thing I could suggest is maybe a larger rear muffler but I dont think it would do a hell of alot and as for ressys like the other bloke mentioned I doubt there will be any room
  18. howd you go with the 4 bolts/nuts for the hinge?

I tried to do the boost solinoid maintance thing today when I tried to pull the hose of it came off the turbo end the only place I could find it went was a little nipple on the bottom left of the front of the turbo first off all is this right? 2nd now when I put the brake on the revs go up the heavier I push the higher they go I have not taken it for a good drive yet as im concerned could this be because I used to much spray? I used crc similar to wd40 I help the pipe up in the air and sprayed down it as I could not get it off the acual solinoid please help

  24. I remember they did a write up in hot4s and used it on a sr20det worked well, its not dodgy, subarus tend to build up carbon and sh*t so they use these each service
