  1. Driving my F6 ute back to Brisbane from Sydney the soft cover came loose at the very back. This was after driving for 6 hours already and whilst sitting on around $1.60. I know it was secured properly when I left and the car was only 3 days old. Its the only issue ive had so far.
  2. Yeah I know, but how do I do that?
  3. This is a popular topic!!! Ive got a new exhaust and dump pipe, air intake and flash tuner being installed within the month. Will come back and post more details once its all installed. Redcliffe Dyno will be doing the work.
  4. Im nearly 30. Bought a AU 3 XR8 ute brand new 8 years ago and just bought a FG F6 Ute to replace it. Could only afford the new car due to the drop in interest rates and if they go back up, she will have to go. Only paid 54K for a new FG F6 ute, so def got a good deal on it. Leather, 19inch wheels!!!
  5. Hi All, I picked up my new FG F6 ute from Sydney and drove it back to home (Brisbane). Before I left Sydney I checked the usual before a long trip and found that FPV had put my right front directional tyre on the wrong way. Ohh well, I drove it back and my intention was to take it into my local Ford service dealership (Southside Ford). After deliberating on whether they should replace the entire tyre with a new one or not, we decided to turn the tyre on the rim and see what Ford say about whether its under warranty or not. I go to pick the car up and the first thing I notice is they replaced FPV's 2cm of lead balance with 5inches of lead balance!!! I was dumb founded. The 19inch Angel wheels now have a 5inch strip of shinny lead balance that sits in between the wheel spokes. I argued with the service manager who obviously stood his ground saying it was normal. Has anyone ever seen 5inches of wheel balance on a car before? Ive bought 22inch rims from Tempe Tyres before that didnt need such an amount of balance. How can FPV balance the tyre and only need 2cm's of balance and this mob using the same wheel and same tyre need so much more? Am I being overly predantic or is this a balls up on there behalf??? Any advice???? Other then that..... what a f'in car it is!!!
  6. Well my deal is done!!! $54,390 for a FG F6 ute with leather, 19" dark angel wheels, climate control, premium sound and NSW premium plates as well (will tell all the plates once they have been booked). Thanks John (although I did all the hard work) now is really a great time to buy and by March it will only be better. Good luck getting a great buy guys and my condolence's to those who bought one earlier!
