Hey all, Howd the rest of the cruise go? First time out with you lot and im flying solo which is a bit intimidating for me... but didnt know where to go and just followed a few others and we ended up at castle plaza where another club was!? I wasnt staying out too late so I just drove back to arndale with them and home from there... Nice cars though, wouldve been great to have a cruise sheet or something hehe. Look forward to more in the future! Alex.

Thanks for the comments! Yeah I really like the xr badge, quite proud of that idea!! Area wise, im down at west lakes. As for car clubs, well I am not in one so to speak but have been on cruises and stuff many many times over the years... never in a ford one solely though... can do it now as I havent had the falcon long. I like all australian cars so have been in all sorts of Late model camira clubs events and magna clubs even! Also smasa and a few others, depends on what im doing at the time and what car is ready to go! So im really hanging out for a falcon cruise! I know I just missed one recently too coz the car wasnt ready which im upset about... anyway!! Any suggestions? on... anything hehe. Oh XR6IXT, your car looks fantastic! Thanks mic, even though theyre imitations, they look better than the real deal coz theyre 19's... personally I prfer to have these over the genuines which are only 18s! Glad that the typhoonesque look on my car is 'allowed' shall we say!! Alex.

Hey everyone, Just thought id get this post up to the top as its this weekend!? How many people form here are going/displaying? Maybe a group display of fordxr6turbo.com forum cars could be on offer? Anyway just wondering as there hasnt been much talk of it on this forum when I thought there would be!? Im thinking of dropping off my car in the morning for display then leaving and going on a cruise for Leukaemia which is also on on the same dame (coicidently the last post says that all ford day supports that too!) Anyway, look forward to heairng what folks are up to!! Alex.

is it possible that the mecanical report fellow made a mistake and ticked yes instead of no or is it more in depth in regard to the books that that? Anyway, I cant stand it how people keep the spare wheel and more often than not the jack out of their cars... totally stinks!! And yes it stinks when theirs no books in a car either (like I said not that it matters to me, but from my perspective of trying to sell a car I know it matters to many others!!). I dont really understand why anyone would either, its not as though its anything special, you can get a blank book and write teh details in and say heres the book! If its for a momento (which I doubt - but maybe) youd think old rego papers and purchase receipts or the like would be more useful... showin when how much etc etc. I have got 20 year old cars with 70,000kms.... which ive bought from interstate and theres been no books... anyone fancy how that's going to go down with customers? The thing is you can just tell whether its true or not. But that's not the point in this case. Good luck, look forward to hearing what happens in due course, even if just as advise for everyone! A car is worth no less without books... it just puts some people off buying them... 50% of people dont care if it has books or not and the other 50% do... yes its nice to have them if you plan on keeping the car, but its not the end of the world not having them. Well that's what my car yard experience tells me. Personally, I wouldnt care less if it had them or not, service history means nothing when the car is a few years old, as long as its all in order, its all in order! Anyone can make up whats written in the back of the book, especially if its had more than one owner. This is just my opinion, so please, dont take any offense or the like to what im saying, everyone can have their own opinion. In saying that, mine has all the books and service history... but I guess what im trying to get at is that it would not be worth the time COST and effort trying to chase someone on the other side of the country over books. Sorry, I hope I dont anger too many people!?
