Hi DallasQLD How effective are you finding the reverse sensors ?

Can someone describe how the reverse sensors operate when fitted to an XR. Do they mute the radio when you go to reverse ? Are they run through the sound system speakers ? Are they acurate ? Thanks

Looks great.....probably thought at many times it would never arrive. The situation many of us are still in.... :-)

I think you will find that, dependant on the size of your fleet/company size, you will be able to get a discount very similar to what Expensive Daewoo has available. When I chose the XR6T I also had and SS in my sights. The discount difference was less than $100 and I made that up on other things given for free. Choose based on which car you like, drive both, get quotes then decide. Hope you choose the the XR6T

I originally ordered mine without Premium Brakes as I thought the standard ones were fairly good. I then had a chance to drive one of the press cars with them and the difference was significant. So my order now has the Premium Brake Option. I agree with the comment you cant have enough brakes and for resale I am sure the factory option will be better.

Ordered mine 5 Novemebr and was told end February or early March. Gave Ford my SIDO number this week and they confirmed it is in the February production run.

I will let you know once I have had it for a while...but I think more is always better in some things ! :D

They both look great but the 18"s look mean under the guards

I have found a combination of Meguirs products to always work well. The gold class paste being one of the best and easy to apply. They have kept my cars looking good for years. It realy comes down to what works for you, easy to apply and gives the result you want.

How is the Mobile presenter fitted, via existing screws or do the drill new holes. I dont want to get one then have it removed and have new holes in the console :(

Have not driven a turbo yet but placed my order based on a drive in an Xr6, very smooth and balanced. With the extra power it should be a great ride, and going from your comments I cant wait

I was all ready to buy a VY SS, just waiting to have a look at the new model at the Sydney Motor Show, with the family. After seeing the new commodore rear end I turned to the Ford stand to see what all the magazines had been going on about. We all loved the Fairmont Ghia and had less of a look at the Xr6 Turbo due to crouds. Once home we test drove the new falcon and that was it, drove better than the Commodore , no bump and grind over bad roads, looked finished inside and felt more upmarket. An Xr6-T on order in November. Regards Craig
